plants not growing. need help

So theres 4 plants and there approximately two weeks old. For the last week they have not grown at all. they still look healthy but just not growing. They are only about 2 to 3 inches high. There is 8 100 watt equivelent day light 6500 k cfls about 2 inches away. Why would they not be growing?????

We need more specific information on your situation, and pictures would be very helpful. What is the temp and humidity of your grow-room? Do you have a steady supply of fresh air coming into your grow-room? Are you properly exhausting the room? What about your nutrients? What brand are you using, and at what strength and frequency? How often are you watering your plants? Do you monitor and control the pH of your water? These are all important factors that affect the growth rate, and we'll need this information to properly assist you.

if u can give us ur pH and ur temp, that would really help us what size pots are u using also?

there in a closet. mirracle grow soil. no fan or exhaust fan. dont know ph or temp or humidity. right now there still in party cups.no added nutrients. grew others same way and they grew. dont know what i did differently. o yea and water little bit every three days

and light cycle is 18/6

Get some pictures up that is critical to getting answers on here. I doubt this could be the problem, but plants stop growing if there roots run out of space. So if it was in like a half filled with soil shot glass then maybe this is the problem. Just putting it out there for future referance really.

Sounds like lack of root growth.

Prob need watering more often than every 3 days. Do your pots have holes in the bottom? A heated seedling tray & capilary matting would dramaticaly help root growth.

Idealy pots should have holes to drain & have 1 inch from soil to top of pot. In my experience the soil should be quite sandy/ gritty to allow drainage & prevent it getting compacted/solid.

When watering fill to top of pot & allow it to drain... this keeps the soil filled with fresh air (it pushes out the old air & draws in fresh) & the water is held in the soil, not the pot (i.e. does not become water logged).

I use MG soluble ferts. Don't know about the MG soil... is that not slow release ferts?

alright so this is what they look like. they have looked like this for about a week now and are approx. 16 days old. I have seen other grows at same age and plants are like 10 times better looking. Dont know what to do. Should i check temp, humidity, and the ph of the water? Should i transplant into better soil? i just dont understand. And it looks to me like there willowing a lil bit. Is this due to over/under watering or what?

Yes there are holes in the bottom of the cups.

i would start giving them nutes, after that you should see a dramatic change, start with a low dosage of the nutes then work your way up, depending how they look and how they handle it.

people say u shouldn't keep a plant in a dixie cup longer than 10 days so they could begin getting rootbound i say transplant, check and check u're pH of they don't start growing and they look healthy then i say start addign nutes
