What's up guys? I just wanna know what is better between the two. I know bags are cheaper, but which ones are more beneficial to the plants?

I already have some in the ground.

Whatever might be cheaper, could actually endanger your plants. Ferts, pots, soil, you name it.
that's retarded in this aspect, plastic grow bags are not going to "endanger" you plants any more than plastic pots, because they are cheaper. trying to cheap out can be costly in some areas, but this doesn't apply. so long as there the same size, one won't do too much better than the other, theyre both plastic and they both get pretty damn hot in the sun. plastic pots drain a little better, but they also have larger drain holes. could poke a few extra in the plastic bags if your concerned about that. Also plastic pots are much easier to transplant out of than bags. Pots will last longer than bags, but bags are easier to carry in(that is if your in the woods)

I don't get the whole plastic thing, I use clay and coco, doesn't get hot at all, don't need to replace it. But I grow safely in my backyard.

We used the bags in our big greenhouse last year. If I use them again I would set them on a piece of plywood . when we tore done after harvest I found that the gofers had mined up into the bags. Big water leak that you never see-----mike

when the bag goes to it's final destination cut the bottom off of it and the roots will spread further. I've used bags and pots and both will work fine. but also with the bags they make transplanting easier as well just cut them off

That kind of bag works exactly like a pot, can be used again. Good drainage and airing to the root. Can hold a lot of dirt too.

I've always kept my grow bags sitting on something like a grill supported upbove the ground.
