please help 400w hps too hot , need an alternative

hey guys and gals , first grow in a tent 90x90x125 i think my 400 hps is way too hot, i have a vents tt100 inline fan and a cf, temps are 100 lol, my question basically is , are these t5 lights ive been reading about a good alternative ? , personally i think the fan is too noisey for where the tent is , and obv not impressed with its performance i.e temps going through the roof.

i basically only want to grow maybe a max of 3 ladies with less heat and less noise , id really appreciate any help as i have 1 seedling left and shes nearly dead tbh.

get a cool tube or a air-cooled hood that will reduce the heat

You need a proper ventilation setup, you shouldn't have temp issues with a 400 watt light in a vented hood or a cool tube. I think your problem is your venting the hot air from your tent back into the room that the tent is in. That in itself will kill you with temps. If you can just isolate the heat from the vented hood or cool tube and vent it outside of the room the tent is in you should be good if your ambient air temps are low enough.

IME I use T5s for veg only because they lack the canopy penetration to larger plants in flower. Good luck and happy growing.

I agree. how about some more details about your setup,where do you draw air from & vent to? what are temps of the room the tent is in? how big is your intake vent?
