Please help! A few questions regarding Subcool's methods...

Good morning all! I had a few simple questions that I can't seem to find very good answers to. Just got some TGA Space Dawg seeds. 1) how long should i keep my seedlings (started in root riots via subcool method - all 5 seeds germed in 3 days) in red solo cups under 2 T5 bulbs??? 2) how far should i keep the t5 bulbs from them??? 3)i've had them under 24/0 light schedule, is this correct or is 20/4, 18/6 , etc, etc. the better choice - and if so WHY??? 4) once i go transplant to 1 gallon pot should i move them under 250w MH (eye hortilux) or 400w MH (eye hortilux) or keep them under T5) should i keep the light schedule @ 24/0 or change it? I am trying to keep with Subcool's methods but can't find every aspect of his grow documented. Thanks for all the help in advance!!!!

I would suggest if you want to follow Subcools methods you start by watching the weed nerd on youtube start at the beginning, I would transplant them before they get root bound maybe 6-8 inches tall, I use 24 hr light just untill they sprout then I change the light to 18/6 because they get darkness even in nature, you can move them under the 250 but lots of people use t5s to Veg most people Veg using 18/6

if it was me too, I'd wack em under the 400w or maybe 250 while in party cups, don't fry them though, leave light a good few feet above them till they get bigger. But the sooner u get them under the MH the quicker and bigger they will grow!
oh and I always use 18/6 and 24/0 for first days of germing like Shawn's, I believe plants would rest/sleep during night like in nature, I believe sub uses these methods for same reason too, my plants usually have had enough light after 14-16 hrs anyways, you can't tell by the drooping leaves, just means they've had enough light.
Although I know people that veg 24/0 and have brilliant results, and is probably quicker too, I just prefer giving them dark, saves electric too

oh and keep fan on them 24/7, just gently while small though.

sub also goes from root cube to 2 gallon pot too, used to use 1 gallons or is in the switchover, I prefer this method of going from root cube to larger pot, I don't think party cups hold enough soil to properly cover the root cube, people use them fine and have no issues, but I've seen a few issues with rapid rooters either drying out or overwatered and getting damping off, and the party cups don't help with either as theres not much soil to cover them really. I either go rapid rooter to gallon pot, or seed in party cup.

Now I feel bad because when I saw that dumb post I was going to reply that he must be some crappy grower if he can't get fire out of your genetics. But I thought you'd disapprove in acknowledging this loser in the first place, so I did what the little Subcool voice inside me told me to and ignored him. Now I wish I had so that you could see that there are people here who miss you and wish you were a presence.

I understand where your coming from but what exactly am I with holding from the community. There is 7 years of grow threads posted here and continuous new information from weed nerds.
I had a few moments and was bored so I logged in to see a thread asking for help.
Then I see another negative comment with absolutely NO forum mods doing shit.
People are allowed to post the most vulgar things about me and my wife and I have no support from the site mods that is the problem.
I still speak to my fans every day just through outlets I can control what and who says what.

^^^Sub, as much as I love you here, I'm going to say you're right. As a woman myself, I've always been a little appalled over the comments that some of the posters seem to make here about MzJill without any regard for her feelings as a human being or yours as her husband. Now I know this is a male-dominated forum and there's a lot of testosterone floating around and I'm not out to "feminize" anyone here (pun intended -- like you, I don't feminize!). But I'm sure everyone can agree that when a man loves and respects his wife it's a little off-putting to be trying to have a real conversation about something only to come across "nice rack on that chick, I'd hit that every night." And I'm probably citing one of the least offensive comments I've come across.

I didn't really understand that the moderators weren't supporting a standard of civility. No wonder you don't want to be here. I wouldn't either.

I hope to run into you somewhere else. I'm not the stalking type, so I really wouldn't know where to begin to find you unless it's pushed right in my face, but I'll keep watching the show and sometime when I can travel to an event you're at I look forward to coming up and introducing myself to you and the lovely MzJill, who I'm sure has some interesting insights into cannabis culture and growing. Just picked up some of his homegrown from organicann not to long ago and it was amazing, this was after a video I saw from him on youtube saying his bud was over at organicann, so I was positive it was his stuff. However you probably got some garb from someone else I doubt a grower of several years had airy buds, much less the dispensary selling them.

Just grabbed a tga super soil charge pack for my HF mix and one of my all time favs; jilly bean seeds

If you are transplanting directly into super soil make sure the top layer is your normal soil mix w/o super soil and the bottom 3/4 is super soil. You can always top feed with nutes as well, organic of course

Sub how can i get your supersoil to alaska? Cant make it sun is not warm for enough cook time check out alaska fishy peat made here in ak
