PLEASE HELP! Any good ideas, Im fed up and really gettin irratable...

i have an ebb n flow systems 12-48 bucket system and think its a complete pain in the ass! Is there an easy way to convert this system to a constant recirculation system or am i better off raising the buckets an inch or so off the ground and adding an air stone to each bucket?I wasnt thinking about chillers and didnt do enough research on ebb n flo systems before buying, bought on impulse cuz I got it brand new for $300 complete for 12 buckets. But my true knowledge is limited to soil-less and converting turbo gardens into constant recirculating d.w.c. systems( these by the way really rock!!!) If you have any proven ideas, i would greatly appreciate them. I feel awfull for making such an idiot decision without doing more thorough research on the product!! Any advise will be greatly appreciated.. please take time to have a good laugh at my expense, i deserve it! But then come back around and have a heart! LOL!! I really cant explain how stuck on stupid i am right now and dont want to just toss this thing into storage...Thanks Downtime...

eh hard to work and a lot of maintaining for that system, and if you dont add airstones the plants will drowned unless you have a cycle when all the water is drained and and brings in "new air" this is called a water cycle. would you show me the system you have?

Ebb n flows are great & easy to use! You don't need a chiller and if you use say Canna nutrients you wont need bubble stones. Personally I don't think you've done any research! There's no such thing as a recirculating DWC system. The only other recirculating systems are Ebb N Flow, Drip & Emit & NTF. DWC is not a recirculating system.

By recirculating I mean constantant flow of liquids not fill and release and like I stated earlier, if you take a turbo garden ebb n flo system and remove the timer so as to let the pump run continuously and add air stones to the top res, you essentually have a "recirculating D.W.C. system, and they work very well!

does it still need time to breathe or does the air stone help cover that?

It doesn't get easier than ebb and flow. Why and how exactly are you struggling with it?

Do you have the pots in a 4 bucket by 3 row setup?

Basically all you should need to do is bring all the ends of the hoses into one joint,
then attach an inline pump to that joint and have it pumping back to the main reservoir.
The 55g drum reservoir will then redistribute the nute solution and you should be fine.
I have never used one of these, but designed my own similar style system using this
return method and it worked awesome.

If you don't have airstones already, I would definitely add them. I'm not sure about
canna not needing o2, but it just seems silly not to help reach your maximum dissolved
oxygen levels.
