Please help, late flowering issue

Im a new grower and everytime I reach late flower I run into the same issue I believe. Yellowing that starts at the top of the plant, purple stems, trichomes wont turn cloudy and harsh to smoke. From the research Ive done it appeared to be an iron deficiency issue caused by pH issues but every test on the soil Ph is 6.3-6.5. Im using a coco brick mixed with FF ocean forest and perlite and feeding with general hydroponics flora series. I feel like Ive tried everything with no success :'( Any help is greatly appreciated.

Whats the watering Schedule like? Might be locking out nutrients due to over watering? I see downward clawing leaves. Either watering too frequently ( not waiting for the medium to dry out before watering) or too much water being used when watering can cause lockout and root damage and pests.

You created your own problem mixing peat and coco
Both mediums have a different feeding need
Chasing ph in soil is a fools errand soil is the buffer that makes ph irrelevant
I agree it looks like your watering habits are wrong and that plant is eating itself
I would run water thru that medium in excess I would then let it dry
When I say dry not like toast but light pot
Then next watering feed it
I can’t be sure this will work because I use soil and don’t ph my water or mix coco and soil
Next run pick a medium if it’s coco
Ph and feed twice a day
If it’s soil you don’t have to ph it’s more of a preference thing

Where are you getting this info to mix Coco and FF out of curiosity? That's like the 3rd person I've seen with that combination.

I was told that in Europe they are banning peat production so all these folks are looking for alternatives
Growing in coco is to much hassle for many and they just want it to work

Thank you all for your responses. I water each 5 gallon pot every other day or every third day depending on the weight of the pot with a gallon each. I’m using fabric pots so I didn’t even think it’s possible to over water. I thought perhaps I might’ve been under watering. When I used just soil I was running into the issue of water not soaking in and just sitting on top of the soil so I mixed the coco and soil not really knowing what I was doing and not thinking it’d be an issue and thought it was a solution because I never had standing water on top and much better drainage.

If you wanna keep it simple just use the Ocean Forest....my plants do great in only OF for 5-6 weeks with only water and the occasional cal mag. ...then there are several routes u can take to get them through flowering.
It took me a while to learn how to water but I finally got it. Soak them good when you do, then let the pot get really light....dry but not bone dry. And if you are iffy about it, wait another day.
And for heaven’s sake, don’t be PH’ing and measuring ppm in runoff. You should have very little to no runoff anyway. Measuring that will only drive you mad and start you down a rabbit hole.
With OF your runoff ppm will be crazy high #s and you’ll think u have a problem. That mix is amended with organic nutes and your ppm will show their presence and you’ll get alarmed. The thing is they are not all available to the plant at that moment....they’re time release.

Thank you for the info. I literally just bought a ppm meter and was getting 2000+ ppm on the runoff and was thinking that was the issue. I do let my pots dry out and get light before watering again. When I was using just FF OF I was running into the issue of the soil becoming like a brick and the water just standing on top I had to poke holes everywhere to get the water to soak and when it did soak in it became water logged and stayed heavy for days that’s why I added the coco and it’s had much better drainage. I also had the same plant issues late flower with OF. Unfortunately after reading everyone’s comments I’m still clueless as to what my issue could be.

I understand. I have similar issues going right now with one of my plants....in OF, and also fairly late into flowering. You def have some sort of deficiency and it would be great to identify and fix. But you’re not growing fan leaves and as long as the buds are progressing and are of good quality I wouldn’t worry too much. You don’t wanna go dumping a bunch of nutes on to fix it.
I can’t tell from the pic but it looks like you don’t have too many weeks left and the buds look just fine. I would continue feeding very lightly and titrating down as time goes on.
Some of best bud I’ve seen has came off plants that had some mighty sad looking fan leaves on chop day. You’ll be just fine as long as you don’t do anything drastic....good luck.

I have similar issues, but I'm guessing they're just hungry. Have you tried upping the bloom nutes? Those buds are demanding a lot of P and K right now is my guess.

I wouldn't mix coco and peat based soil personally. But you should be able to save it. That one might just demand more nutes than the others.

I’ve mixed soil and coco before, it’s ok to do that but you’ll have to make sure to rinse the coco and soak it with ca and mg prior to putting in soil. Those plants are hungry, see a deficiency in N and K, possibly more. It’s too late to revive them, but just ride it out.

I'd be willing to bet it's a drainage issue. You're plants have the classic too much moisture look but it sounds like you're trying your best to not over water so it's not super put of control. Problem is that when they sit with too much moisture on the rootball they start to get sad and the roots start having problems. Root problems reflect above the soil in the form or deficiencies, because the roots aren't able to do their job.
I wouldn't mix coco and peat like others have pointed out. Perlite like you mentioned will do a great job here. I've had dense soil before that needed to be almost a 50/50 mix with perlite.
How do you water? I know you said 1 gal in your 5 gal container but do you pour it near the base of the main stem or do you pour the water focusing on the out edge of the pot?
Also if this has happened before, what did your roots look like at harvest on the other plants? Lots of white root mass all over or darker with few roots?

Take more FFOF ( heavy scoops ) and TOPDRESS IT.
Simply water this in to recharge medium and keep plant from cannibalizing itself any further.
‘This will rebalance the soil side of that unnecessary mix you started in.

I use this soil ten ways to Sunday and it needs very little to round it out.
More Perlite
EWC
Neem Meal ( helps kick the shit out of bagged “ hitchhikers “ from pallet / travel / etc. )

Simply recharging a medium with same medium ( that plant acclimated to already ) is ridiculously easy as this bagged mix can even be made as a soil drench / tea by steeping in cheesecloth.

Sometimes the simplest shit is overlooked.

Bro im using same mix of ffof/coco. Curious how your plant final result was. Personally I thought your issue was light related cuz of the leaves curling down but we'll never know so i won't debate seasoned growers. But light burn kills taste since u spoke of harshness. Once I moved my light 24 to 30 inches things got better. Late bloom issues don't worry me cuz u can still have a nice harvest and great buds. So far I personally like the mix of ffof/coco but im only 3 weeks in on this run. Let us know how your grow turned out in the end. There's alot of haters that will never bend on mixing mediums but I believe with experience and knowledge u can make anything work the way u want it to and produce quality bud.

The Rev recommends mixing mediums in his TLO book. He uses coco in his mix too.
