Hi,

So week 6 into flower and have found a few bananas on a different plant. Happened in my last grow and managed to be ok by just keeping a beady eye and plucking daily..

I thought this was down to fluctuations in temps so reinvested in a bigger exhaust fan etc and have solved that potential problem.

Need to find out why & how I'm still getting bananas.

Basically the images attached are of 1 plant which is looking suspect to me.. bud development compared to the other 2 is WAY slower and less crystal production. I'm not worried about bananas as I've had before but I'm just really worried that this is turning completely male.. need to make a decision to chop or not.

Am I losing my mind? What do you guys think. It's just the way the bud is forming looks completely different to anything I've seen before..

Just need to confirm, get some opinions before I cull :(

PLEASE HELP ASAP!

hey nugget, relax, they look good, or you didnt shoot a pic of a finger.??
anyways. female plants dont turn male, they show male expressions. if she is showing
confusion then yes, she is expressing her boy.
genetics are to blame. some are sensitive to light during night time, some to big temp swings, oh, attacks, damage, etc.
think of it as the plants last ditch effort to survive long enough to make seeds, since there are no boys around she makes her own pollen to fertilize herself to carry on her genes in seeds. If you threatened her, and you see fingers or balls she may have decided to ditch your plans and seed her own.

Hey guys, thanks so much for response.

So I have found bananas and a couple of seeds on a different plant. The one in question is considerably less dense in bud production and thc levels. Never seen a bud structure quite like it. Very whispy.. Will try and get some more pics up tomorrow to show what I mean..

I have triple checked there is no light leak, room is sealed. There is no massive temp fluctuations average of 67f lights off and 77f lights on, never more than a 10f swing..

The only thing I can think is I did remove a fair few leaves in early flower (maybe week 2/3) due to light not penetrating bud sites.

After this one I'm going to use a sulphur brick to nuke the room... hate having bananas have had them the last 2!

The plants I'm worried about are both dutch passion - master kush btw. It's been weird this grow, had 3 og kush - humboldt which were Reg fems but they started flowering in veg stage, under 18/6! Have to say they produced amazing quality bud but never had this happen before...

Thanks!
