Please Help Me with My 2 Week Old Seedling (Drying Leaves/Discoloration)

First of all, high to everyone in this community. I am an amateur growing his first indoor plant. Seedling is about 2 weeks old, kept under 3 relatively small lights (and some sunlight), and at the moment I am noticing that my leaves (especially the top ones) are drying and curling up, and they are also changing in color, with spots of lighter green/yellow visible. Needless to say Im concerened, since everything was going well up until this point. I am using miracle grow (i know its not a great soil but it should get the job done). I have only fertilized once and that was with only 2 drops of fertilizer, and since I have used only water. What do you think may be the problem here, and what can I do to help my plant pull through. All input is appreciated...

all most all of my grows have been with mg. the plants look like nu diff. you sed you added ferts? how long ago. mg has ferts all ready in it thats why a lot of people dont like it because it stays in the soil for 3 months so you dont have to add ferts. i would recomend normal water to see if they pull out of it or if you can replant them take them out of the soil there in and put them in fresh soil there still young so its not going to kill them. good luck.

What is the distance between the top of the plant, and your lights?

I would recommend not feeding it until it shows you a sign that it needs to be fed.

Those plants are dead im sorry but let me make a suggestion for your next attempt. If you want to use miracle grow soil I would suggest starting the seedlings out in jiffy pucks or rapid rooters. Jiffy pucks are really cheap and you can get them at walmart for 3 bucks and it comes with a dome to start them in. When they start to touch the plastic then put them into the miraclegrow soil puck and all. I found doing this evens out the nute problem people have with mg's soil.

What inspired your statement that the plant is dead?

I added 10-15-10 fertilizer in a very miniscule dose about a week ago...I only added 2 drops for the liter or so of water. The lights I am using used to be further away from the plant, but as you can see from the photos, I stacked encyclopedias under the pot and now they are within a foot from each light. I have a small fan blowing softly at the plant, if that can clarify anything. I am starting to suspect that the reason for this unhealthy state may be because I have been using a spray bottle once in a while to spray the leaves, and the spray bottle previously contained some cleaning solution with some bleach. I thought I washed it out very thouroughly, but perhaps the plant is more sensitive to these chemicals than I could have suspected...
Once again any further advice is appreciated...(I have become attached to this seedling, I dont want it to die)

What leads me to belive that bleach may be the cause, is that the new leaves look very healthy, and they grew after I stopped spraying the plant with water from that spray bottle

U probably need a blue spectrum light setup, looks like maybe a nute burn or too hot of a lamp.

It isn't tied to tight to the stake is it? Do you let it dry out a bit between waterings? I had some issue with my last seedings but I think it was under too low of light. I change that now and they seem a lot better. I grew out of mg soil with no problems but I never used ferts until 5-6 wks. Good luck!

The plant is not tied up too tight, it is barely held in place by the string. I water about once a week maybe every 5 days or so, and I am positive that currently my lights are close enough but not too close to the seedling.

what is the ph of the water you are using to water

I do not know how to measure PH...I never though it could drastically deviate from the neutral level. Do you think my ph level may be too low or too high?

They never replied and im having the same problem...did you find out what it was?

u water once a week? its best to water like twice a day or maybe 1 everyday 2 days.. ur plant is small it needs water
