Please Help!! Possible Nutrient/ Ph issue

So this is my third grow and I’m still new to this so looking for some help.

GROW INFO:

Tent size: 2x4x5
Type: Passive intake
Extractor fan: AC Infinity cloud line S6 460 CFM set at 2nd lowest
Light: Maxsisun 2020 QB style PB 2000
Light height: 24-26 inches
Temp: Average 75 day/ 66 night
Humidity : 50-52%
Strain: Durban poison ( larger) and Sour diesel
Pot size and type: 3 gallon fabric pots
Soil: roots organic topsoil
Soil Ph: 6.7-7.2 ( varies plant to plant) Slurry test
feed Ph: 5.5
Grown from seeds
Weeks of veg: Durban 5 weeks , sour d 3 weeks

When I purchased the soil it had a run in with soil gnats in the beginning but took care of them with SN-209. I am worried that could have killed or disrupted the beneficial organisms in my soil. Since then my plants have been struggling with what I thought to be a lack of calcium and magnesium but I have been using cal-mag plus for about two weeks as a soil drench and foliar spray when lights are out. I followed the dosing instructions on the jug. The girls seem happier but every day I see more leaves showing symptoms. I am at a loss of what it could be. I have been feeding with General Hydroponics 10-5-14 ( when I use cal-mag I decrease the General hydroponics). I also have been using Mykos WP to bolster the root growth since seedlings. Could this possibly be a Ph issue? I feel like this soil is a bit to basic. I want to flower soon but I need to get the girls back healthy before I switch the lights. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Satax,

so even with such a high soil Ph you still suggest a 6.5 for feeding? My EC IS 1.2-1.3. I thought calcium as well but wouldon’t the cal-mag be kicking in by now?

Plop,

You have a bad assimilation because of the PH certainly.
Yes in foliar it will be better, also 6.5 for the PH of the mix your are going to prepare
Your EC need to be at 1.6-1.7 at this point of grow.
Hiw mich do you watering and how often?

Ok, higher EC.

I water based on the plant. I have a moisture gauge and wait until they are dry by lifting the pot and the meter then water until the soil is close to saturation.

Ok, but how much water you give to itch plant when you watering?
It as to be 1/4 of the pot size.

Bad watering could also look like your plants:wall:

Good luck:peace:

I am watering at 2 1/2 quarts for the big girls and 1 1/2 quarts for the smaller ones I am trying to not overwater because I ran into that last go round.

my understanding is that the amount of water should be roughly equal to root mass not necessarily amount of soil.

If I watered at 3 quarts wouldn’t that drown the girls?
