I currently have 20 White Rhino(Greenhouse) seedlings going and Im becoming a bit concerned with their status. This is my first indoor/winter grow and im dealing with a bit lower temps than i am used to, about 60F at the lowest. The seedlings are just over two weeks old now and every one has a purple stem, the tallest one being about 3 and one half inches. I have seen the purple stem before, but the majority of the seedlings are now slightly showing red and purple hues on the first set of leaves(one even has a spot on the center of the leaf). Several of them have their first set of leaves beggining to curl downwards(not drastically, but i havent encountered this before). They were under a 150 watt HPS with a small fan on low for circulation, but since becoming concerened i have put them under flourescents(both under 24 hour light). They are in 4 in pots with Happy Frog soil. I dont think it is nute burn or a deficinecy seeing as how young they are and the fact that i have used this soil for seedlings with no prior problems.i also dont think it is a watering issue becaue i allow them to dry before rehydrating. My main suspicion is either cold temperatures or some kind of flaw in my lighting setup. If someone has encountered these issues or is familiar with these symptoms i would greatly appreciate some input, Thanks.
