It will grow under there but not very well. The incandescent puts off alot of heat.

Dump the incandescent and get a 150 or a 100 watt cfl....

The incandescent is a Waste of Space. Change it to another CFL if you can? All you get from an Incandescent Bulb is Mainly Heat and a Bigger Electric Bill.
Even a Cheap 20 Watt CFL from ebay (4 x 20 Watt CFL Bulb's £6.00/$12.00) Will make a Huge Difference to your Girl and make your Heat more manageable.

I use the BIG 300W equivalent cfl's from Home Depot. They are 65w and cost about $15 bucks.. I use 4 and get big nasty buds...

Get rid of the incandescent, completely worthless... If all else, buy a box of those 13 watt cfl,s fror a few bucks..

got some pics? yeah rock some more cfls. right now ive got 8 30 watt cfls and one big 65 watt in a 2x2 vegg box and my shit gets big pretty quick. cfls help with heat more so than any other bulb in my opinion so i dont need any exhaust fans. but still use them just becuz i should.
dont feed them full strength nutes yet cuz they will fry. start at a 1/4th strength then after a week or so move to half for about 5-7 days then go full strength. that way you dont risk burning ur babies. oh and ph is important. keep it between 5.5 and 6.5 and u should be good. u go outside of that and u will notice some strange things happening like buning edges and stuff and if u go way off the 6.0 target u will hurt them.
and since ur new. if someone helps u on a post and gives u what u think may be helpful info hook them up with some reputation. too many people get help but never hook the person helping them up on this site from what ive noticed.

so what ur trying to tell me if he waters some small babies a week into germ with full nutes and 8.5 ph he wont kill them? and yeah sorry if ur in soil the ph is higher than hydro or coco. but the same rules apply. u go to high or too low and u get the same issues. but how was my info wrong? in case u didnt notice i said in my opinion with the lights and cfls. im using that set up now with great results. which means i agreed with u about getting rid of the incandescent so if ur not here to help with some info beside the trolling shit ur doing feel free to go !

You Should have mentioned the pH of Growing in Soil 7.0 Neutral (Above the 6.0 that you say will Hurt Them). MJ is a Weed that will Still Grow with a pH of 8.0+ I found this out Myself on my First Grow. And Too Much Fertiliser will Kill Mj Not so much THE pH.
I Also Admit that i made an Assumption But i didn't give misleading Information that could have Hurt the OP's Grow had he taken Your Advice for a Soil Grow.

Optimum PH for soil is not 7.0, or anything higher than that for that matter. 6.5 is a good number to shoot for.I'm Sorry if i have offended you, That was Not my Intention !
