I've had 10 seedlings under a 20 watt CFL for just over a week now. They germinated really fasted and are growing pretty well. I've had the light on for 24 hours a day. I am going to have to put them outside eventually, and I've read that the sooner you put them outside the better. This morning I put them outside, it was nice and sunny out. Unfortunately I had to bring them back inside, because the temperature outside tonight is supposed to be pretty low. I've heard it is bad to this. It may cause plants that might have been female to become males? Did I fuck up? Also, after bringing them back inside I put them under two 13 watt CFL's. Is this enough for 10 little seedlings? Is a 24/7 light cycle bad for vegging when I am going to be putting them outside eventually? How long do I have to keep them inside now? This is my first grow and I don't know very much about this stuff. I just want to keep them alive. What should I do?

ha ha ha 2 13w lights for 10 plants!!! try 20 13w lights
I'd go as far as to say 30! 3 lights per plant. I'd prefer to have even more than that. I'd go three on top and then one on each 4 sides. Now we're cooking with gasoline.:joint:

just joking.......i know plenty of people that bring in plants at night...i would back off the light cycle though....my buddy put some clones out side that had been vegging on 24hr and they started to flower for the first 3 days.....they didnt dwarf out or nothing they just went back to veg and the flowers seem to be going away...he said it was cause of the stress but they will grow normal from here on out....

I would just keep them inside until both the night-time temperatures are a bit warmer and they outgrow the lights you've got (which they may already have).

When you want to put them outside, you should gradually introduce them to the environment so as not to put them in too much shock.
