Plez help!! Newby building room in garage want to know about concrete floor?

Wondering if I can use my concrete floor in my insulated garage or do I need to build a floor? If I need to build a floor any suggestions.
thanks!! I will be on here alot with question!!

well if you're doing hydro your water temp might raise to be equal with ambient temperature because temperatures tend to even themselves out like that, with a slight discrepancy from airstones

so if your room is 80F and you want your water to be 20F lower than that the concrete might act as a free water chiller for you

i would try it directly on the concrete first, and if it gets too cold, just throw some pieces of wood under there and call it gravy

Been tryin to post my thanks but the net was down for me this morning...so thank you, this will save me plenty of time and money...

If growing in dirt. I'd keep the buckets off the floor. I'm in the corner of the garage. I use a pallet with a cheap 4'x4' flood tray on it, line the tray bottom with mylar and it will hold 9 - 5 gal pots. Repeat as necessary.
