Ok so I live in an apartment an I have a 4'x4'x8 tent. My complex is doing "inspections" tomorrow through the next 3 days. Anyone got an idea of how to hide it it's in the corner of my room. I'm thinking of just throwing everything I have in my room to make it look like storage more or less. Anyone got any other ideas??

Could do your storage room idea, and if they ask say its a wardrobe. But I am paranoid and would hide the plants somewhere and take the tent down for the day.More work but worth it.

Unfortunately that's the hazard of growing in an apartment, best of luck to you and hope it all works out, sorry to hear of your delima, I know the paranoid you're feeling, I once had the fire department respond to a false alarm to my house, the adrinalin darn near did me in, fortunately they took my word for it and never intered my home.

What stage of growth are you in? If they are small enough, you could pop the bottom out of a dresser drawer (or two) and put them in the bottom drawer so they have room, then in the tent, hang a couple hangers with clothes on the support bars at the top, toss the lights on the floor and throw clothes over them, and leave the tent open so it actually looks like a wardrobe.

However, I'd be inclined to take the whole thing down like Mattemil said.

What are they inspecting?

Depending on what it is, they may not even need to enter your room at all. Find out, because it matters.

Not knowing how big the plants are, what your apt layout is like, etc, its tough to offer specific advice.

All I can say is that the only way to absolutely ensure that you don't get caught it to make sure there are no plants present during the inspection. That may mean destroying them, harvesting early, etc.

IIWY, I'd at least take down the tent (itself probably suspicious), and conceal the contents. If the plants are small, that shouldn't be too hard. If they're really large or late in flowering you may have a serious problem. Getting them out of the apt may be more risky than leaving them there. Also, depending on how big they are, and what part of flowering, just moving them around can seriously stink up the apt.

One possible way to conceal them is just at the bottom of a large wardrobe type cardboard box, ideally in a closet. If they fit in the bottom and you draped the top with actual clothes, the whole thing would look pretty innocent. Large opaque plastic storage boxes would be another way to hide plants, and at least temporarily contain the scent.

option 1: Put a latch and key padlock on the door to the room and tell them you rented out the room to your cousin for storage purposes. Your cousin went to europe and locked the room and didn't leave you a key. They can't get in.

option 2: Rent a van and take down the tent. Put the tent, your equipment and the plants in the van in the middle of the night the night before the inspection. Let them do then inspection and then move everything back in. Go buy big trash barrells at home depot and save the recipts. Move the plants in and out of the van in the barrells. After your done return the barrells and get your money back.

option 3: Reality. Your fucked. There's no way you can hide a huge grow tent or BS people into thinking it's anything else but a grow tent. Grow tents are on the news all the time because people are getting busted all the time and they always show the tents. Anybody with half a brain cell will know what you're up to. The best chance you have in that case is to lock the tents zipper so it cant be opened and say you are growing herbs to sell to local restaurants and hope they don't want to look inside. If they ask to look inside tell them you've misplaced the key.

Get a wardrobe box or two from U-Haul or somebody, cut them out and fit them over your grow tent. Then pile stuff in front/around it.
