Plz Help - PH in Reservior Keeps Rising!

No matter what happens my PH in my reservior continues to rise to 7.5.
At 1st I thought it was due to my plants feeding n wat recirculted had raised it, but after checking it right after a feed, it was still fine on 6.2, but the next morning it was back up2 7.5..
So I decided to experiment - this morning wen I woke up my PH was 7.5, I adjusted it to 6.2 n Did NOT water the plants, yet still tonight my PH is again 7.5, just 12hrs after correcting it, and all it has been doing is had an air pump in it whilst it sits in my reservior.

Any ideas on y this is occuring / how to stop it?
Much appreciated :)

you usin ro water if so it doesn't have the buffers to stabalize properly. i always used tap water and after a res change the ph would slowly drift up fer 2 or 3 days than it would stick

Just tap water.. so even though I adjust it with PH down it continued to rise?? That sucks. I've had similiar problems b4 in that my reservior wud b stable fir the 1st 2 or 3 days, but then keep dropping to 5.3ish. Is this a similiar problem?

What kind of res in what kind of system? How old are the plants? What kind of nutes? Something is raising it, it doesn't just raise because of lack of "buffers."

It's a flood & drain.. Well the PH changes over a period of 12 hrs (or less). Even without feeding the plants. Nutes r part A & B, Monster Grow & Nitrozyme (which is meant 2 drop PH after a feed)..

Take a gallon of pure water. Add your nute and supplements to it, in the right proportion for one gallon. Adjust its pH to6 and let it sit. If it changes it is some interaction within your nutes. If it doesn't change it is something else that you put in the res or that is going on in there. Try to isolate it.

The only thin I can think of (in the meantime) is that I was using Lemon Juice 2 drop the PH (read it in the organics section) n it is somehow dissipating..

Citric acid (citrus juice) and acetic acid (vinegar) are very poor choices for use with an aqueous nutrient system. Use a mineral acid like nitric acid or phosphoric acid. Even sulfuric acid if you must. Stay away from vinegar or acetic acid except for emergencies or soil grows as they are very weak organic acids that cause many problems when used in a soiless grow. They are weak acids that only partially dissociate in water so they are best used with soil grows. They feed many bacterias etc. that you do not want to feed in an aero or hydro system.
