I made this thread so politics can be a bit more organized around here. This thread is where any one that wants to talk about politics can. I do not see why you political goers can't come here everyday and do the chit chat about your views. I do not believe there needs to be 6 political topics on one page. I think one thread could get er done.


I will get it started. I am not voting this year simply because I do not like any of the canadites. I would vote for one of those 3rd party canidates if it was worth my time and there was a chance in heaven one of them could win. Although it does not good now I hear that the old wrestler jesse ventura may run next time and he seems very strait forward " I like him". Now I know he is not perfect but no one is but from what I have seen in the world of politics I will take him.

Even if he has had a affair with his wifes sister or even if he only has 9 toes, I ain't gonna let that shit bother me he does not talk like the others so he can have the vote. I like his ideas to.

Oh yea I am not voting for anyone for president cause neither are worth a fuck and this homie here and bowing down to quilt and voting for the lesser of the 2 they say. Nope not me don't care I have already considerd the whole darn president race a total loss this year already. I do have hope however like a good boxer you get hit in the head a couple times in every fight does not mean you lose the fight.

i'm putting down Gary Johnson as well!

I am glad there is a Gary Johnson to vote for as I have aged I have became a Libertarian. I like to say of my political philosophy: Do not rob my children or I, be financially responsible and leave me alone, be socially acceptable. Is that to much to ask of these political clowns?

A great man once said: “If you're not a liberal at twenty you have no heart, if you're not a conservative at forty you have no brain.” (Winston Churchill). This makes logical sense but I believe that when many within my generation came of age, today's political D vs R games leave no true conservative choice as special interests have drug both parties left of center. This would not be such an issue today if there were someone like Ralph Nader around to keep the Dems honest on the left in primaries and elections. How has this current pack of Dems been able to silence the alternative left as they have four years now? Without these principles to juxtapose, the lack of principles becomes painfully obvious even at 20 or at least they will be in hindsight.

Well heck I spent a few minutes reading about Gary he seems pretty legit don't he.

Johnson isn't on the MI ballot, but he is in other states.. I don't get that.. It's all a rigged bunch of shit.. It doesn't matter who you vote for the electoral votes call it and if the electoral votes are deadlocked then congress decides.. or something like that.

If ANYONE lives in KALAMAZOO COUNTY vote YES on PROP 7! It allows us to have up to 3 dispensaries and for the city to stop shutting them down like before. Its very important we get this passed!!!

Gary Johnson is a Allowable Write in Candidate, he just did not get the paperwork in on time to be PRINTED on the ballot, but Gary was able to get all paperwork in michigan to be a viable write in candidate. Dr Ron Paul did not get the paperwork filed for Michigan, but he Did get it for about 1/2 of the other states. Gary Johnson is Printed on 47 State ballots, and is a Viable write in candidate in the other States, so he can legitimately win, so every vote counts.


A vote for any candidate is a vote for that candidate/party policy, but with that said, a vote for Romney is a vote for Obama. lol

But Obama has Michigan Wrapped up, and even if he didn't, i ll still be writing in Gary Johnson for President.
If you are in Dist 7( ann arbor ypsi ect) Vote for Democrat for Congress Kurt Haskell, Kurt is a Dem but he is not voting for Obama. He would be an excellent US Congressman For the PEOPLE of Michigan and a great Rep for Dist 7.

Supreme Court Choice is BIG here in Michigan. We need to put some Dems on the Supreme Court, and as many Libertarian and Democrats in other offices here in Michigan. The Hard Right Republicans here in Michigan are out of Control and they need to get a clue. voting most of them out may help, and if not, we can finish dumping them in the state in 2014.

Timmahh I think you're a bit politically confused brother. The only political party supporting MJ, or such individual freedoms, are the Libertarians. Here I ask you to note that all viable Libertarian candidates come from Republican party NOT the Democratic party based on principles. You may want to reconsider exactly what you think you are voting for bro My point here is that the Libertarian party is in no way synonymous with the Democratic party, but rather the Republican party priciples.

Well I think we all lost no matter what the outcome. I just do not understand how outta ALL of America we are left with these 2 choices? My mind just cannot process that and be pleased.
