your second worst fear realized..

iPhone FaceTime bug lets other people eavesdrop on you

San Francisco (CNN Business)A newly discovered bug in Apple's FaceTime software lets Apple users listen in on the people they are calling, and even see through their front-facing camera, without them picking-up the call.

The bug, flagged by 9to5Mac on Monday, was quickly recreated by people across social media. CNN Business confirmed the bug multiple times in its own tests.
Apple said in a statement Monday night that it has identified a fix for the problem and will release it in a software update later this week. In the meantime, Apple's website indicates Group FaceTime is unavailable, and the company confirmed it has started disabling the Group FaceTime feature for all users.
The bug works on iPhones and iPads running iOS 12.1, and Apple PCs running macOS Mojave, which have the recently added Group FaceTime feature.

Yeah, I'm not driving today. It"s the 3rd day in a row of relentless wind and snow. So damn cold out too, don't know what the wind chill factor is but it's -4 degrees temperature.

The plow trucks can't keep up with this weather and the roads are just crazy dangerous. I got stuck 4 and 1/2 hours waiting in a 12 car pile up on the highway yesterday afternoon, it sucked.

Anyways though, Android is better than iPhone

On another note, I bought this Mountaineer brand magic beard balm to use in my goatee because it's starting to get long. Really good stuff, makes my goatee soft and smooth and it smells good

I got a really good price on a turning lathe over the weekend. I've been looking for one of this type for years and was just browsing through the paper and found this one. The previous owner died. He had 17 grandchildren.

so it's people you know vs the creepy dudes at the government you didn't know. The real story is that apple is crap and stupid people looking for some superiority signaling keep buying their junk. Remember the text you could send your buddy to crash his iphone. good times!

Whats the first the FDA protecting profits over US lives or Russians in the white house?

130 people dead per day, 128 families per day busted apart because..
Thanks Trump!

One would think commerce could sue for manipulation of market place. Where's wall street spending your water and air filter allowance?

Life is good for Morticians, the corporate model is scary successful.

Holy shit Meng Wanzhou just broke int my garden and made off with some cuts from my personal genetic pool. Dam intellectual property thief. That's the last straw huawei! This means war!!!
It does bring up an interesting point. Can breeders whom invest their time making great hybrids patent their genetics if their company is in a region of prohibition. Can some lousy Canadian LP purchase a regular seed pack then re label it their genetics and then patent it. I think people who make base lines like norther lights or white widow or the OGkush deserve some respect. But pretty much everyone breeds with these lines, so when can you call it yours?

Yeah anyone doing snow removal the last few days here has been working non-stop and they can't even keep up, it's insane. The wind has been brutal, you move a pile of snow and an hour later it's right back lol.

This is my first winter driving a semi truck, and I'm telling you, it is not much fun driving big truck in the snow. I got stuck in 3 different docks yesterday, everything is a nasty snowy mess

I'm making some mac n cheese for lunch today, going to get a little wild here and throw in 2 pouches of cheese to 1 box of mac noodles

I''m out of control sometimes
made some killer mac and cheese the other day that turned out really good if i do say so myself.. cooked the mac first, then into the crock pot it went.. picked up a pound of "cheese ends" from the local deli.. they sell all of the ends when they get too small to cut on the slicer.. get a nice variety of cheeses for bargain basement prices.. tasted killer in the crock pot mac and cheese.

Thanks man, that means a lot to me.

I'm going to work today. The wind and snow has stopped, it's still bitter cold though, I think this cold snap is being called a polar vortex. Should be an interesting day. I have a run up to Muskegon, Mi then I have to take that load down to Elkhart, IN. I'll be taking US 31 most of the way, it pretty much runs right along next to Lake Michigan. I"m really hoping the plow trucks have been out all night. I know this load I'm picking up weighs around 36-38,000 lbs, so I feel good about that at least, I don't like driving empty when the roads are crap. I'm just going to take it slow today and stay alert. I have insulated bibs, extra boots, extra gloves and an extra winter coat in my truck in case of an emergency.

This weather is some weird these days.

I'm in northern Alberta about 6 hours north of Edmonton and it was +3C/38F and sunny all day. All the snow is off the roof and in open areas of the yard you can see the grass. Supposed to get a foot of snow starting tonight so got to get some gas for the snow thrower. Have a 200ft driveway that gets drifted in pretty good.

Stay warm!!!
