Pollinating hermies.

What would be better if I want to get good seeds ? Should I a) Let a hermie pollinate itself ? b) Pollinate a hermie with pollen produced by a strong male plant ? Which way would result in obtaining seeds that are more feminized ?Thanx:)

I BELIEVE, but don't quote me, that if you pollinate a female with a hermie you get 100% feminized seeds. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Ok. I've read that self-pollination of a hermie plant will result in hermie seeds. So in order to get more less feminized seeds it's got to be a female, not hermie plant, pollinated by a hermie. Thanks:)

OK, this is a touchy subject. lots of different oppinions. i asked a similar question a bit back about my hermi. after doing some research i found this. and it ONLY pertains to hermis that go hermi from fems due to stress like light/dark period tampering or light leaks, not natural hermis.

if a hermi pollenates itself the seeds will generally be female. its a proccess known as 'Selfing'. it will not work if you use male pollen, nor will it work on natural hermis. i cant remember the sight i found with this, but theres also a bit about it in jorge cervantes grow bible. im currently sprouting 2 seeds from my self pollinated hermi to confirm or deny this.

hope i helped.
