 If I pollinate a female plant that grew from a feminized seed, would the seeds i get also be feminized or would it be mixed? thanks:joint: :peace:

The way to decide when to pollinate the female is by counting BACK from the end of her flowering period 4 weeks...this allows the seeds enough time to mature before harvest.

The seeds should be allowed to dry in the buds after harvest, as they do continue to mature during the drying process.

Hehehehehe. I like the idea of fdd having special plants. They all produce pollen and sometimes its even flavored. Yum. The blueberry pollen is my favorite. But when you snort it it gets allover. Dam now I have that stuff all over my face. LOL

if you use pollen from a female plant they will be female.

there was recently a thread posted on how to turn ONE branch on your female plant into a male. this is the whole idea of femenized seeds. it is a tricky process and requires some chemical sprays. a female plant that produces pollen only carries females chromosomes in that pollen. when female pollen is used to pollenate a female plant you get femenized seeds.

rather advanced, i know. i can dig up the book work and post it or search out the thread if anyone is REALLY interested.

Making feminized seeds.
How do i produce all female seeds when breeding male and female plants?
cheryl - Via Internet
Dear Cheryl,
I spoke to expert breeder Chimera from Chimera Seeds to get a detailed answer to your question. His explanation was unparalleled! Here it is:
Some growers intentionaly use the pollen from intersex (hermaphrodite) plants to fertilize females.they found that the seed and subsuquent offspring produced from this union will be predominantly female. The major problem with this technique is that these plants will have inter sexed tendencies. By selecting parent plants that have intersex tendencies, we ensure that some of the progeny will also have intersex tendencies. Using pollen from an intersex or hermaphrodite plant is an intentional selection for intersexuality - like begets like.
Some seed companies market "feminized seeds" which are produced by collecting pollen from carefully selected, latent, stress-induced hermaphrodites, and use them to pollinate female plants. This process is time-consuming and arduous but yeilds mostly female plants when grown without stress. However, under the stresses that resulted in intersexuality for the pollen parent, the progeny will often show some degree of intersexuality as well.
So how do we get true females (ones that don't show any degree of intersexuality under normal conditions) to produce pollen? Can we get pollen from female plants that don't show a degree of intersexuality?

ARE YOU READY?????????????????????

here it is POLLEN FROM A FEMALE PLANT. and i am ripped. no TYPO. nothing special in my closet.

it's called RESEARCH!!!!!!! i do a little here and there. still love ya all.

There are hormone treatments that, when applied to cannabis, result in the formation of staminate flowers on otherwise pistillate plants. To select against the intersex condition, we take our chosen female breeding canidates and grow them under stressful condition that may lead to the formation of male flowers-irregular light cycle, high heat, etc. ONLY plants that RESIST intersexuality under these conditions should be considered as potential breeding parents for the crweation of all-female seed lines. We call these intersex-resistant plants "true females" Intentional selection against intersex is the only way to inseure intersex-free offspring. Clone copies of these pistilate intersex-resistant plants are then sprayed with our hormone treatment and placed into the flowering cycle and allowed to develope stamens. It typically takes three to five weeks for the plants to enter dehiscence and shed pollen. True female canidates that also resist intersexuality under typical stresses are pollinated using pollen obtained by our hormone-treated, gender-reversed, stamenbearing female plants. The result is a true gynoeciuos population, consisting entirely of female plants.

and that my friends is pollen from a female plant.      :peace: :joint: :joint:

i just had some master kush make one flower on a female plant and pollinated the lower buds on some others the result was 60 seeds and every single one turned out female when flowered again, so yes a female plant can produce pollen to to make feminized further more a clone form the same plant also sprung one flower in the same spot so i continue to make these seeds and will do so

so all i have to fo is give the plant a stressful life. it doesn't matter that the plant i want to have produce female seeds grew from a feminized seed?

i wouldnt suggest a stressful life being that you could do stress it too much and it could die suddenly. personally i would go with cloning a real good plant and go that route you can keep a mother vegging for like 8 to 12 years before it will die

oddish...:-|
but i keep it with nature and get a few males which i gone pick and cull as it ever been done:) got enough chemicals around me at work;)

but still, fuckin cool what a few chemical molecules can do, did you ever puzzled your brain by the way what they will do to you?:spew: be careful with the stuff:?
