sure each pistol collects the pollen and inturn pollinates the plant. several different types of pollen can easily be used

dont think you will get the result u expect though
What your saying is:

Say one had a white widow female, as well as three male plants: OG Kush, Pineapple Express, and Headband. And one were to take pollen from each three of the males and pollinate different pistils of the plant, they would NOT produce seeds for three separate crosses (WW x OG , WW x PE, WW x HB)? Correct?

i believe if u take one piece of pollen, touch it to a pistil, and it will make one seed. that seed will have the dna from the mother, and the father u got the pollen from. then if u take another males pollen and do the same thing on another branch, that second seed will have the second fathers genetics. the only problem i can see from this is that u dont know which seeds r which, unless u mark the branches or something

i dont really KNOW this is how it works, i just think it does haha

Is it possible to really pollinate a plant like that? I figured once she was prego she couldnt get more prego. I figured she would be pollenated the first time and the rest she was just taking like a greedy girl.

one pollen + one pistil=one seed

just like one sperm+ one egg=one baby(unless it splits and becomes twins)

the pistil will mate with any pollen that comes along. if they only produced seeds from the first pollen that touched them, it wouldnt be much genetic diversity. if theres 10 males around one female, they will all mate with her(or at least most will), and the seeds will be a totally random genetic mix of those 10 males and the one female

*this is the way i understand it. it MAY not work like this, im no scientist*

Just because 1 branch gets pollinated, doesn't mean the entire plant will give you seeds. Just that bud.

For myself making my own crosses and not wanting to be smoking seedy weed specific pollination is the only viable solution for me. You can pollinate one bud site or branch, with a certain male, mark it with sewing thread or something light but visiable. You can do this for as many males as you have on different branches or even buds on one branch. You will want to keep records and not rely on "Oh I can Remember". IMHO a branch or two pollinated early in the flowering cycle will not have any noticeable potentcy effect at the end of the flower cycle (just my opinion) except for the branches containing the pollinated buds.
Collect your pollen, glass being the best container for this and a nice pair of tweezers ( I got 14 inch surgical ones for working easily $15 from a medical supply place on the web). Collect your pollen just before the pollen sacs are ready to open place into the glass and put the glass container in a dry warm area to dry. Depending on the weather a few hours to a day, take a metal object like the end of your tweezers and tap the pollen sac to get the pollen to release in the bottom of the container. Then with all fans, drafts and such shut off take a small artists bruch tip into the pollen and gently rub over the pistils you have selected. Keep this as draft free as possible for a couple of hours and then mist down to knock off any loose pollen.
I hope this gives you something to think about I have used it now for several years and always with the desired results.
