I recently put a seed in a seedling starter organic cube after it germinated using the wet paper towel method. After only a day a very small sprout was visible, but after the next day and a half, nothing more. I suspected the temp. was too high, and I was also playing with it a lot which is why I think I may have stopped growth and killed my sprout 
When I suspected this, I figured I did and I didn't care much so I got a small needle and started digging around the sprout. Then came to find the other end had the 2 small non-true leaves forming, still white. But the whole root feel out of the seed casing, does this mean it's a goner? I put the root back in facing down with the leaves slightly above ground level to see if anything happens...thanks for input +rep!
