Plants are just over 5 weeks old. they are outside in 7 gallon pots. Im using General hydro flora 3 part series, and have given nutes twice, once 1/4 teaspoon per gallon about 3 weeks ago, and 1/4 teaspoon about 1 week ago. I am wondering seeing as it is in its 6th week, maybe i need to bump up the nutes. P1010001.jpgP1010002.jpgP1010008.jpgP1010003.jpgP1010005.jpgP1010007.jpg

@Robert great pic! Plenty of infos :)

@sags82 : I see only beautiful plants. Minor issues but nothing to worry I think. I had the same issues with some leaves but nothing serious. Keep the good work!

PS: you could consider pruning your plants to make them bushier. If you take care of them in the early stage you'll maximize the final yield.

Overall pretty healthy, I wouldnt worry about pruning until you have some secondary to prune. Right now it would be more of a beheading of the cola and the few side branches growing out of the base of the plant. Let, it veg awile and produce something to prune first. Where you are growing outside, you aren't limited to space like most "kids" on this forum trying to grow in their closet without mom and dad finding out.
You are not limited outside, why go hacking otherwise bud beaing nodes off your plant?
Let it veg and when you feel the plant is starting to show pre- flowers. you might get under the plant there, and prune the brushy crap away, Pruning a plant and subsequently stoping and stunting the( bulk-up of this plant ) could be limiting it's production. left to grow this could produce 2, 3 who the hell knows how many ounces, Indica dom plants like this grow long whispy secondary banches, that in return grow more (terrciary ). They get large and bushy on there own. Prune to CONTROL size and prune for yeild when sighns of bloom start. Top if you want to create multiple colas, but let it get big,and bushy, by allowing it to grow to it's genetics potential first, It will get much,,,larger if you let it grow side branches (secondary) and terrciary growth before ya get to pruning.

any good pruning vids out there. i have never done it before. could i also just bend some branches to get them more access to the light in addition to pruning?

Of course you can shape that thing into a giant bud producing girraff if you want to. The thing, is let it get big and bushy outside, If ya want a huge plant let it grow.Plants dont get large by cutting them down in a growing stage.
With outside let them grow until they esentially stop. When they stop growing, and have reached the genetics potential. Then prune for yeild, bringing into the light what you feel will get the best fall light. You probably live somewhere where you have a whole summer of grow season left???Yes why go limiting a outdoor plant this early in the season. A plant not even close to finnishing the veg process doesn't need to be pruned for yeild, or leaves taken off to let light in. none of that shit, let it grow into a tree, you will be pruning later to keep people from spotting it over the fence!!!

well leaves are not getting any better actually getting a bit worse, going to be checking ph in next couple days seeing as i finally get to water them only 3rd time in their 5 week existence. Think I should add some nutes to the solution, or just distilled water? oh btw this morning i foliar fed a micronute solution http://agr.wa.gov/pestfert/fertilizers/fertdb/prodinfo.aspx?pname=387 seeing as i really think my mg is low, at least thats what im getting from the look of the plant. I think maybe my biggest issue is being too light on the nutes. I will find out once i can test the runoff. oh forgot to mention I did get to feed into the soil some nutes 5 days ago http://www.plantfoodco.com/lib/pdfs/PFC-Liquid-Fertilizer/PFC-Liquid-Fertilizer-10-4-6.pdf but again not including the ppm reading of the water i was using i only gave them maybe 150-200 ppm of nutes. hope that all makes sense to you, it at least did in my head
