Possible Solution for AAW Dim Spot

I think I've eliminated the hair-pulling "dim" spot that I and have read many others experience with their Adjust a Wings.

I've only been using a pretty inexpensive LUX meter, HOWEVER, that is my control variable. Anyway, I've always noticed it spikes on the outer wing edges to 1000+ on my meter and as I moved it from side to side it would dip to 500 or below before spiking back to 1000+ once past the wing edge.

Anyway, I also have noticed that the 1000w Hortilux Blue MH's I use with my three AAW's have never been level, that is to say they always drooped out towards the end of the bulb. I used zip ties to feed under the unit the bulb screws into, prior to the metal box that houses the wiring and allows the vertical adjustment of the bulb, and fed them up through the existing holes there to move said unit forward if using a lower wattage bulb (If this plays out I'll add pictures to show exactly how I did it) and back through so the ties can be attached, tightened, and leveling the bulb perfectly.

I have to lower the bulb almost to the max extent I can in order for it to not make contact with the spine of the wing, where the two sections connect, and still have about .5" spacing from it.

What I've noticed is that from end to end, the LUX meter never dipped below 1000, nor did it flinch. I measured from almost point blank below the light and from approx. 3 feet below with the same readings.

Will follow up, but I know that dim spot was my main complaint with the AAW's so I wanted to get this finding out ASAP...
