hi

ive been a member of this site for a short while now and have read lots of threads/posts at 1st i kinda thought that people with 1000s of posts must no there shit but lol not true there are some members on here with 3000+ posts still talking utter bullshit im not gonna name names thats just stupid but spose about as stupid as me finking that 1000s of post must mean they no what they are talking about.

yah, i agree.. just cuz one may have a high post count, it doesn't mean that they know one thing about growing mj.. after all, they may hang out on the politics section of the site and post pretty much there only.. or there are plenty of non growing related topics on this site so that one could easily have a high post count and not be a grower.. i never understood that either, why one would join a site that is basically about growing mj, and not grow mj, or be here to learn how to do so.. but i have been on this site long enough to have met quite a few people who are here to just hang out and shoot the breeze about nothing in particualr ... i was also kinda amazed at first to learn that some of these people didn't grow... but most of the ones i am thinking about never pretended to be growers, it was just my assumption that they must be cuz there they are on a grow site for years and years sometimes..

They prolly know their shit in the subforum they reside in the most; as this site covers many spectrums of interest, they could be absolutely full of shit in every other regard.

Yup post count and rep both mean jack shit.

Find people who give good info then just try and remember there name.

I just noticed I got over 2000 posts.I never thought I would of been on here this long.Come the 30th im gonna be fucking ghost.

Ya man I never thought Id have so many posts either.. Riu has become my home away from home :) I think most ppl with a lot of posts know what they are talking about just from reading so damn many posts but obviously there are those who just post without reading.. Those are the ones you gotta stay away from....

i also have noticed that most people on this site having alot of posts are not even growers just stoners hanging out . kinda like high school they have like a cool guys club that run the place, at the same time still most are not growers .nothin wrong with that though just my observation.

yep i wouldnt judge based on post count OR rep lol. i have over 2000 posts, and i have some rep, but i've only done 2 grows haha so i try to help where i can, but im by no means brilliant on the subject lol. i like to hang out in the toke N talk a lot :D
