like the title says, all of you thanksgiving cooks that are multitasking this morning, post up what on your menu....

cider basted turkey with roast apple gravy
creole cornbread/apple stuffing
4 cheese baked macaroni
garlic n herb mashed taters
stuffed sweet potatoes
green bean casserole
bourbon pecan pumpkin pie

and maybe something else... TBD

im on fuckinng house arrest so i cant eat with the family but there bringing some left over turkey,mashed potatoes,stuffing a just the usual over when there done eating

you cant leave at all????? normally, here at least, you get the cute little ankle-watch, and are allowed out to work or whatever is needed.... what did you do?:lol:

I honestly don't know. I'm at my other house and my Mom and company are at the main house. I offered to buy the entire dinner at Fresh market, but she would have none of it. All I know is she has spent about twice what my complete dinner would have cost ... :mrgreen:

I can cook better than my Mom, but am wise enough to keep my mouth shut. :lol:

probably a good idea there:lol:..... i need to give my crazy mother a call... see what she's up to today:?.... grandma is coming over though.... she admits herself that i cook better, so they're not bringing shit:lol:

Fist off, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Here's the menu:

Turkey-2 kinds, smoked and baked
green bean casserole
stuffing
sweet potato casserole-yum!
cranberry sauce
smoked salmon
pumpkin pie
sweet potato pie
pecan pie

I'm sure I left a few things out but it's always a pretty good spread. Definitely one of my favorite holidays. I'm all stocked up on Pepto Bismol too! Once again, Happy Thanksgiving and everyone be safe. (No drinking and driving).:leaf:

I can only leave when I call 24 hrs ahead to my case worker for something like going to my lawyer and then I have to fax something stating when I got there and left over to pre bail it sucks.but the asshole cop tried to hype my case up so much cause he tried to give me and attempted homocide but that got thrown out in the preliminary to aggravated assault sbi but I ended up getting granted unsecured bail with electronic monitoring conditions a couple days after that so I was one happy camper im gonna win this case in the end most likely it just takes time but this is gonna be a sad Thanks Giving and probably Christmas to.

this is the recipe i got the idea from.....not sure what kind of variation i'll give it yet.... im thinking it needs some nutmeg, or pumpkin pie spice..... maybe a pinch of clove....

and i dont know about being quite the chef... I'm learning though, and seem to have a keen sense of what would taste good.... seasoning and spices are like instinct.... i'm just trying to get all of the proper processes and little tricks down

24hr notice isnt too bad.... im sure you could manage that to go have a normal Christmas;-)....

They wouldn't have any problem with it but the whole incident happend a couple blocks away from my family's house so I cant go anywhere near that neighborhood.but not exactly someone tried to rob me an it ended with them almost dieing if you live in Phillly im sure you seen it on the news a couple times im not really trying to go into detail about it,not trying to have any of this show up in court lol

I'm a long way from Philly.... more new orleans;-).... but i take it my assumption was right??? wasnt judging, just guessing;-)....

Yea you were pretty close but New Orleans looks great I would love to move there and get out of this shit hole you go to Mardi Gra every year?my sister and mom went and they said it was amazing my sister got my mom to smoke weed for the first time down there and she got to drunk and high and started puking on bourbon street they got it on video it was so funny We still keep making fun of her about it she gets pissed
