Posting seed to UK

A friend of mine wants to try two of my varieties. But is it legal to get seed through the mail in the UK? Can anyone advise?

I get seeds from MSNL and they mail from the UK and I live in the USA and I know mates in Australia get them delivered down under no problems.

Totally legal to post or have seeds in the uk. It only becomes illegal when you add water to them.
Herbies seeds used to have their shop literally just round the corner from the local police station. If it wasn’t legal they would have been busted every single day.
