Pot size

I have 2 seedlings I'm growing out doors I wanted to start them in a pot first before putting them strait into the ground so my question is about how long should I keep them in half gallon pots?

I dunno about half gallons, but I usually wait till they're starting to get rootbound in solo cups then go straight to 5s, but i do indoor

I would go to 1 or 2 gallon pots and let them build up some hardiness for the move to the ground. Too many variables to predict how long, but as a guess I'd say three weeks or so.

At least a couple of weeks and a few nodes, the larger they are and almost root bound in those 1/2 gal's the better they'll do once you throw them in the ground.

Alright so should I transplant to a gallon pot after say 3weeks and keep them in there for another 3weeks then put them in the ground

How old are the seedlings? I would put them in 1s or 2s as soon as they are strong enough for a transplant, then go to ground when starting to crowd.

Alright and yeah I have a couple bigger pots kickin around and one sprouted 4 days ago and the other 3 days ago so there fairly young they haven't had any significant growth yet I'm sure once there roots get some decent growth they'll start to show more signs of new growth up top
