Potassium Bicarbonate for PH up...

I had read on-line that PB works well for increasing PH organically; and it certainly does that!

My PH in RO water after 5 mil (per gal) of the Roots Organics nutes drops to 4.37. When I added the recommended 1 TSP (supposedly would raise.3) is raised the PH to 6.9. I added 1/2 TSP to the next batch and it brought it to 6.2.

Ill have to dial it in some more but the stuff seems to work pretty well and you don't have to add much!!!

Ya it works good. When I ph my water and molasses mix before adding tea bag to brew for 2 gal. I add one teaspoon then mix let stand for a bit and mix again then test. Be sure to let dissolve fully and not take test right away after mixing in. It will climb up on PH so like OP said lil at a time.

Growing in natural soil without bottled ferts doesn't require pH-ing.

Given that MJ is a plant like soooo many other plants, why is it that stoners are the only ones that spend fortunes on pretty bottled ferts? Why is it so rare to find a guy that just makes a nice aerated soil and uses compost or EWC and leave it at that? Way too much tweaking and spending.

Guys like gadgets and tweaks and there's an industry taking a ton of your $$. That's the dynamic going on.

I know lil late but that bottle of EJ ph up cost 20 and still have a full bottle almost. I use all the things Rrog commented I just ph water when mixed with molasses before adding my EWC or compost or Alfalfa meal which are all cheap as hell. I was told to do so by MR.West since I use OGBIOWAR way before they finally had a good website to read up on it.
