Potency and taste- final feed

2 weeks before final harvest, I feed my plants pure pineapple juice/water (5/50). The natural sugars in pineapple juice forces more osmosis into overload. The taste depending on the weed has a subtle peach taste. The natural organic sugars force the flowers to swell before dying. Beware of ants and definately dont feed more than 50/50 water pineapple juice concentrate. Natural organic sugars force buds to swell before it's final life cycle :peace:

Did you do the experiment yourself? You should start a grow journal with your next grow and show us the difference between the two would love to see the difference

That's bullshit. Just use molasses. You depraving your iron, calcium and magnesium hungry plant into starvation. Buds don't swell because of sugar you add. Forced osmosis? If anything, sugars in any form inhibits water uptake defeating the enhanced osmosis theory. Rubbish

Hate to break your bubble mate, but here goes anyway-- It's New Zealands summer right now and we grow au natural. As for 'not giving plants essential minerals ie magnesium blah blah blah, try blood and bone BONER.

I've been grown weed for the last 30 years 'sherlock', actually as for molases etc, try brown sugar.

The bright spark, hey- heres an idea, molases and brown sugar but hey your the master grower.

New Weed????? look it up and satisfy my quence.

BULLSHIT----- HA HA HA, HAVE A TOKE OF OUR STUFF MATE

Pinapple concentrate forces osmosis as opposed to mollases with a peachy taste

DUH

can you prove pineapple juice does the same or better than mollasses? no disrespect, you can do what you want with your grows but im pretty skeptical.

My original thread was relating to potency and taste. I have no proof that mollasses are stronger 'forcing' buds osmosis pattern.

Pinapple juice is as good as mollasses but with flavour, Mango/ papaya etc etc.

Similar to having cinnimon sticks in the curing stage of jars. What pineapple does and have on the last feed does force natural sugars through the roots. Try any natural fruit with a dence concentrate of sugar, Pineapple is one hell of a natural storer of sugar and wet

How much brown sugar per gallon when growing in dirt? How much pineapple juice?

How about in hydro/aero?

I was referfing to brown sugar as a simple way of natural molasses, as for concentrated pinapple juice-- 50/50 with water. 2 weeks from (soil) harvest, stress ithe plant into producing its own sugars through 'osmosis' ie sugars, when the 'hairs' turn brown they are ripe and ready. AU NAUTRAL

Depends, my plants (approx 20 ltrs- in soil) 1 ltr with approx 2 table spoons of raw sugar mixed with warm water.

Sativa responds better to natural sugar, less stretch and more nodes

hmm I really should try this whole pineapple idea with some outdoor sativas in hawaii. Imagine how happy theyd be, just like a tropical fruit drink in paradise, ahhh yes. I will have happy plants indeed.

If u confused try one of the commercialy available "ripeners"they designed for the job are fairly cheap and wont wreck your precious crop! once u know how they perform then experiment on individual plants to see the difference..

POPPYCOCK! All this bullshit people tell you to do to "beef up" your buds at the end of the growing life is BULLSHIT! If you raise a healthy productive plant, it is during the last two weeks it puts on 35% of it's weight anyway. If you don't yank your plants early and quick dry half your shit in two days and smoke it, you could watch your plant get fat all by itself with very little help from you. As far as adding flavor with exotic juices and human feces brushed on to the main cola (done on day 50 to add weight and flavor), get a strain with a particular flavor you like. Don't manipulate mother nature, she does it best.

As far as I know dumping a load of citric acid on your plants when they really just need to finish up and not get burnt to death is...well, not too smart.

next grow you should try one plant w/mollasses and one with the pineapple juice under the same conditions, let us know how it goes, it wouldnt be the first time someone made a interesting discovery that sounds like total bs. its probally not but ya never know.
