My pots have around 10.63inch of diameter and 9,84 tall. The plants have 6 weeks old. You think I have to transplant then to a bigger pot till the end of the harvest? Or I can grow it till the end on this pots? Im thinking about to veg a little more maybe mor 3 weeks or so..

Need more info here mate. Pot size is preferably given in gallons or liters or at least give us the dimensions in ..x..x.. so we can work out the volume. Diameter doesn't help unless you are using round pots... 6 weeks old since when? Since sprouted, seedling, vegetation started? Are you on soil, what lights are you using and what strain is it... Also your growspace, how big you want or can afford your plants to get? Are you still in vegetation or you are already flowering? Basically it mainly depends on how big you will allow them to get hence how long you will leave them in vegetation. You can grow a plant fully in a 1 gallon pot and you can do the same on a 20 gallon pot. There are many parameters so give us more info!

That said if you just want a simple rule of thumb, then when you see roots coming out of the drain holes, growth slows down, plant needs to be watered every other day, then that might as well be signs of rootbound so you can then transplant to bigger containers.

I think they have about 2,91 gallons. but im using round pots with this measurements 10.63inch of diameter and 9,84 tall. 6 weeks since they sprouted. Im on soil using a 400W HPS with 3 unknown strains one black berry and 1 SAD form sweet seeds this last on is indica predominant about 80%. Im using LST and I pretend using a scrog on it to. My space is about 1.7 width and 2.0 height this is in meters. Im still in veg with the 18/6 photo period.

I use 2 of the same size pots for veg and mothers, I'd transplant at least a week before flower. Once my plants go into 400w hps bloom, they grow like crazy. (I bloom at 12" for 3' plants) Anything less than 5 gal buckets and I find myself battling deficiencies. It can be done in smaller pots if you're really dialed in on your grow, but I'm not that ambitious. bongsmilie

i have a 5ft cali orange bud in a pot u are describing its doing just fine. bigger than 1 i have in 5 gallon bucket
Is the water/feed schedule/medium/light exposure parallel between the two different sized pots? Are they clones from the same parent? Are they in veg or flower?

LOL, sorry for all the questions I appreciate you taking the time. Whether it's skill, ambition, or knowledge... I'm definitely lacking it :)

I've seen people flowering plants in dixie cups, LOL WTF?

Three gallons is a good size but if you have already been in vegetation for 5-6 weeks then not sure if the pot will be enough to accommodate them till the end of flowering. I used 4 gallon pots in my first grow and kept them in vegetation for like 5-6 weeks too. They got rootbound about 2-3 weeks into flowering. I would transplant them in bigger pots like a week before flipping the switch to 12/12 since you are growing big plants from what it seems. :D
