Powdery mildew advice

So i'm starting to grow in my closet, I've noticed in many of the videos I watch and some things I read that powdery mildew is a problem, that is if you dont take any means to prevent it. Sulfur burners are a little more then I wanted to spend right now but will get one in the future (in a few months about).

For right now (and please be nice!!! lmao) would taking a veggie or fruit can (label off) with sulfer in it and set it on top of a hot plate to burn work?

If you think it will be ok I have a closet that is 5'x5'x8'. How many times a day and for how long do you think I should run it?

Just general cleanliness without cross contamination of materials is a good path to prevention of powdery mildew or other plant ailments. If you have to combat it an outside and inside approach works well. You can introduce microbes from stuff from a product or similar one called Voodoo Juice to fight off powerdery mildew internally. Externally you can manage it with a host of sprays from sulfur based to ones with garlic, sodium bicarbonate, and cottonseed oil. When you see powdery mildew surface it is already in the plants system. Most just treat on the outside rather than going about a two attack approach.

Tried milk mix, safer fungacide, and now ozone. Didn't like the results from the 1st two apps.
I am currently trying small treatments of the ozone and will try increasing dosages to obtain hopefully optimum results.
All my clones seem infected even though they looked clean, the ozone seems to bring out the beast in them. Two of my clones have already died as they cannot take the ozone app.
Will continue to try this method to aid 10 mature plants to maturity. Then disinfect the room and start all over. Would a sulfur vap disinfect a whole room?

if you're concerned with mildew, first take preventative measures.
have a clean room.(sterilize between harvests)
don't allow temps below 20C at night.
give your plant some room for breathing, make sure that there is ample air movement throughout ALL of your garden.
spray with safers soap or other sulphur based sprays.
get a sulphur burner. burn when your lights are off, even an hour or two a week is effective. i bought one off of ebay for fifty bucks.

trust me, if you see pm on your leaves pull everything out of the room, remove the infected areas of the plant and spray the sh*t out of your leaves and stalks until they are dripping. spray the walls and floors as well. repeat the process for next week and follow the above preventative measures.
i have battled the sh*t out of mold in the past and would suggest that you should be pro active to avoid crop damage/loss.
hope this helps.
