powdery mildew during curing?

hey guys i have a little pm problem but nothin significant. So my question is tht when i cure my weed should i worry about it comin back, or is that only for alive plant material? Also do you guys think that a 1 week cure is enough, cause im leaving for 3 weeks after that week cure, also what would be the best way to store it during that time. thnx for any help

You dry at higher temps and pm does not live there. PM needs 70's and damp with little air movement and venting.

If you want it dry in 5 to 6 days set the temp at 92 and have a small exhaust fan to draw the moisture out for the drying box.

PM makes me ill,I toss them out,whenever I see 1 speck of powder.As for your ?,I got no clue.

The smoke is a little harsh but not to bad, your only taking 4 to 6 days off the regular drying time. But you can jar it up and in a month it will be much more smoother. You can always re hydrate it if it gets to dry.

Once you've cut off all infected parts and improve grow room conditions (temps, humidity, air circulation), you shouldn't worry too much.

PM infected my plants last time but thankfully didnt come back when i dried and cured.

I dry them in my bathroom with a dehumidifier set to 35% and have a small fan circulating air just under them (not blowing directly on 'em).

In any case my plants have never been hung-dried for more than 5 days. The curing is what really counts.
