Power generator indoors?

If you're doing this to hide your power usage, why don't you just whip up an inverter/battery bank setup run off the wall? you would use a bit more power but you could spread the power usage evenly throughout the day. Since you are clearly going for super stealth I think you should look at a lower wattage LED light in a small tent instead of 2000w grow.
umm battery's are expensive as fuck....

In my personal experience, a 3kW grow with all the accoutrements won't arouse any suspicion provided the rest of the home uses the least possible amount of power and odor is controlled.

To further protect yourself you can run 2 flowering rooms on a flip and the veg at 24/0. This will keep the lighting load on the utility the same at all times. This will prevent them from seeing the 12/12 cycles on their smart meters.

@Renfro how much would it be just for the battery's because if you cheap out on the battery's they'll last about 5-7 years with fla's 3-5 with sla's 10+ with lithium I already looked to see how much just a lithium would be around 8 grand wonder how much cheaper it would be with the others. but proves my point of battery's are expensive as fuck

No clue buddy. Last time I did anything with PV was 15 years ago, we used a bank of Rolls Surrette deep cycle's. Batteries were like 2 volts each, more of a cell than a battery, chaining a bunch up to get to 48 volts for an inverter, than taking those series chains and wiring them in parallel to get more run time. Was mega expensive and like you said, 5 years or so you are replacing them. Not fun either.

The only way I would be interested in doing PV thats not grid tied is if the electrical loads were minimal, like a tiny home or something. Definitely not a grow.

yup having to replace them every couple years is not in my plan at least and as u said for tiny houses its better suited this is true because u have it linked into your system and have it draw from it before u use the power from the power company. but at that scale its not worth at all u only get a certain amount of charge cycles too so its a game I don't wanna even play. bongsmilie

Would be more of a long term solution to use surplus energy from solar panels to pump water to storage up hill and then use it to generate power when needed flowing back downhill through a generator lol. At least then you aren't replacing batteries all the time.

I can say that back in the days of $5000 a pound wholesale, a generator was a much more cost effective solution. Would be hard to justify with wholesale prices having dropped so much due to legal grows.
Just gotta bring back the old days of prohibition then you’ll be back to 5 a p

Honestly I’m still making some profit been doing wholesale p for 2500 better than a 1000, I just don’t wanna sell it to people I want a one time deal then I’m skrting out idk probably the same for you I just play it smart and don’t be dumb to who you give wholesale too but usually not horrible

I would kill for 2500 a p wholesale again.

I used to dump all I could to a college town, one guy bought all I could grow out of all my houses at 5k a pound wholesale. He was always begging for more. He was gramming it out at $35 a gram and tripling his money. I couldn't grow enough for him, selling to all those college kids spending mommy and daddy's money. Those were the good old days.

Wanna know the funny part for when the college kids come into town that’s when I usually charge more for them I do 3500 and they still buy it lol they like indoor grown atleast lol at one point I made like 14 grand in like 2 weeks was a great time and this was last summer but since legalization came all the prices are going down but I’m still able to sell at 2500 for now atleast

Man I used to dump 8# a week for 40k in 20's. We would always meet and I would trade a trash bag of flower for a walmart bag of 20's. Math was always perfect so we could just exchange packages and then go our separate ways. One nite we shared a blunt and I had left the bag of 20's on top of my truck cab. Drove off and forgot it lol. I bet someone was so fucking happy when they found that on the side of the road.
