Power outage and cycle of plant

There is a very good chance we will be having power outages tonight with this big ass storm that supposed to hit. So here is my fear/questions. suppose the light are set to come on at 7pm for a 12 hr cycle but they dont cuz no power. hours or a day later the power is back on. Do i start my 12/12 at that moment or do i wait til the next regularly scheduled 7pm start time? will this mess them up? some have been flowering for 2 weeks some just put on the 12/12 cycle. Thanks much.

It's really up to you when you restart the cycle, I think. If you start it as soon as the power is back then you'll have to adjust little by little in the following days to get to the time you want. Hopefully your power isn't out for too long, or any time at all, but a few hours will not confuse them too much. No worries, my friend.

Lights out during light period will have no noticeable effect on your plants. Lights on during dark period...now that's another story. I would start up at the usual time, you probably have a good reason for starting at 7pm, like heat.

No worries because instead of telling all my friends I shut my whole setup off for periods from 15 min to 12 hours. If a plants gets less then 12-13 hours of light it loses or gains a chemical that triggers flowering. So as long as she gets as least 11-12 hours of darkness she will be fine.
