Power outage

My power went off yesterday about 330. It is still off now and could possibly be off all day due to a tornado. I’m worried about my plants and don’t know what to do. Lights in flower tent usually on at night so they have been without lights for over 24 hours already. Veg tent has been without for 14 hours as of now

what should I do?
What are the worries?
stresses to plant?

How far into flower are you? Any idea when the power will be back on? Maybe move them to the living room to get some fresher air. Or at least open the tent. Or harvest (last resort)

Last summer, I went on vacation for 2 weeks. Came back home and my power was out, and the bud I was going to harvest the next day were grossly molded. The power stayed off for 2 weeks after I came back. I found out, a few days after I left, a typhoon came thru and knocked my power out for a total 1 month.

Will be fine for a day or 2... just reset your timer

I have used LED lanterns to keep the light cycle on time during a power outage. That kept things from going wack. A backup generator is by far the best solution though lol.

Definitely. I keep some of the solar powered LED lanterns on hand just for this. Easy to charge and they'll last for 8-12 hours. If you deal with power outages on the regular, then a solar or gas powered backup generator is a must.

Buy a generator. If it takes longer to get the power up and or also for next time this happens, as s backup?

and most ballasts now are compatible with a generator however if you have older digital ballasts you might wanna confirm they are generator compatible before the power goes out. Some of the older digitals would have a problem and drop the arc if something like an AC compressor kicks on and for just an instant the generator plays catch up with the throttle and the RPM dips causing the frequency of the voltage to dip.
