power went out

ok so i got a call this am to tell me the power was out at my grow house, im onna 12/12 almost 7 weeks in. ive opened my tent door and opened the curtains to let at least some light in ,how long before this is gaunna coz any real problems. i'm hopeing power will be back on at some point

Oh wow. My condolences. I live in an area with frequent power outages. In december of 08 the power was out for 8 days. A back up generator is a must. I don't know the particulars of your situation but it sounds like maybe it would be a good idea. Fuckin things are super expensive, though.

if this is a soil grow, then you should be ok for a day or two. Just get as much light on them as possible. Even if it means getting some battery powered lights, even if they are not grow lights some light is better than none. If you are running a hydro/aero/dwc then you may be in trouble if you don't attend to them pretty quick. If you are running hydro or the like then you really need a generator. cheers for that idyle and hightide, its a soil grow but everythings ok the power came back on at 1.30 am so they were only in darkness for 4 and a half hours. power outtages round my way are pretty rare, it'll happen two or 3 times every winter but wont last more than 12 hours

Glad to hear your ladies are ok! I know the feeling - I had a scare a few weeks back, only my biggest concern, was them freezing. If I can find a reasonably priced generator this year before winter comes again, I'm getting it!
