whats going on everyone, hope all is well.... im curious on to how to apply my nutrients to my plants... Someone told me to spray the plants with them then to add some to the soil....

I dont like the idea of adding the nutes to the soil, because im thinking it will mess the Ph balance up, is my theroy correct?

I do spray my plants once with nutes every 3 days, but i then just add straight water with no nutes to the soil after, is this a good method or should i jus add the nutes to the soil also..

Any feedback would be great guys thanks to all

id say folar feeding is ok but not everytime..you should water with it and play folar every once and while..put your nutes in the water..test the waters ph and water it really isnt that difficult..if you think your having a ph problem do as mysticclown says..water as normal..wait 30 minutes water with 1/2 cup of whatever..should push out enough water to test..

I suggest never misting your leaves, even with plain water but especially with nutrients unless you know exactly what you're doing. you can seriously burn the leaves, plus it drains nitrogen from the plant and the water droplets act like tiny magnifying glasses and create "hot spots".

Dillute your fertilizer in 1 gallon water and follow the directions on the bottle. Start with 1/4 strength your first feeding and slowly work your way to full strength.

ya i been using it a 1/4 strength.... and i usally spray it under the leaves at 7am before the sun hits its peak... i jus wasnt sure if adding the nutes to the soil would mess my soil Ph up, but thanks for the advice man i mite just stop misting them and just start adding to the soil rather

it all depends on the nutes you are using. some organic nutes can be sprayed on leaves but misting with chemical ferts is just asking for leaf burn. applying directly to the soil is the most common way to feed, another way is to take the entire plant out of the pot and dip the roots in the solution. just make sure you water enough so runoff drips out of the bottom of the pot to prevent salt buildup in the soil, and only feed every other watering.

Thnaks for all the help Majek.... i really appericate it man, this is my first grow and im hoping for the best hahahah... i just bought the fox farm trio pack fertilizer because many growers i know told it works great so i am kinda nervous when applying all these nutes because i have some background in gardening with vegtables and stuff, but never MJ. I picked up some purple widow seeds, and the plants are about a month old right now and they look great, i just want to keep the cycle going, but thanks again man for all ur help
