Before the last company that distributed C.A.P. co2 controllers went out of business, it was fairly easy to send it in to be re-calibrated, than sent back. Hydrofarm is now the distributor of many of there products, so you would think they would be the company to contact if they need to be re-calibrated.
I called them and they didn't have a process for sending these in, despite that they are now the distributors for my model, ppm2a. My three year warranty is up, so they told me it would cost between $130-$160, and I would have to pay for shipping. Than he told me he would call me later once they "figured out how they were going to do it".
I'm now waiting for the call and am wondering if anyone here has a ppm-2a C.A.P. controller, or any other C.A.P. controller and knows where these can be calibrated. Am I getting ripped off just for a re-calibration? Any info greatly appreciated.
