What's up bro? I'm sorry to tell you that I can't be much help to you. I have never grown hydroponically, and when I did grow, which was several years ago, I didn't use any of that stuff. Light meters and PPM weren't things I needed to be concerned with growing outdoors. Al B. Fuct is pretty knowledgable about all aspects of growing. Maybe try to send him a message. PPM meters, measure how much nutrients are in the water..YES you absolutely must have one. PPM = Parts ( Nutes or salts) Per Million parts of water.

You also MUST get Ph up and PH down solutions, without these your grows will fail before you even start. PH up and down you can get at hardware store, use the ones for hot tubs, its all pretty much the same.

Yep , you do need a ppm meter . I tried with out one and killed my lil ladies . So i broke down and spent the $80 to buy one and my new ladies look real nice . Ph up and down you can get at the pet store .
