PPM Outdoor soil grow Questions

What up fellow growers, so I have been growing outdoor for years in the Northern California area and have my own setup of nutes, ph, and ppm I use every year (as I am sure most of you do too) and I am curious to what some of you guys use. Not so much concerned with the type of Nutes used, just mainly PH and PPM. I use Botanicare Nutes, keep my PPM's between 600-800, PH 5.0-5.5 with a blend of botanicare during veg. Then during flower I bump it up gradually to the 1500-1800 range and a PH of 5.5-5.8. Anyone else use Botanicare and willing to share what they use? Even if you don't use Botanicare I would still like some feedback if possible. And also I was wondering what the benefits of Cal-mag are, what specifically does it do to help the plant? Thanks guys, looking forward to getting some feedback from the crew on here!

Some strains act differently to the PH but I have found 5.5 works best for the girls. I will give them all the way down to 5 just to avoid having to adjust it and cause a high ppm count. Man I wish I could achieve your results organically. I like botanicare because its not to strong of a Nutrient and works wonders in soil and coco. But to each his own, just like to hear how other growers feed their garden. Thanks!

The quano piles last year seemed to give me gnat problems. Think I be using Maxsea this year per label instructions only . no pens.

Alright thanks again, My meter was off by 1 whole point. So it was really 6.0 not 5.0, I always adjusted my ph based on how my plants were looking it never even occurred to me to calibrate my meter..bongsmilie.. Well all is good now with the last feeding at 6.4. I'll post a pic soon of them

Any advice is good advice TWS, I've grown for years but there is always something new to learn because I know there are people out there who have been growing for decades... I like picking those types of peoples brains for tidbits of info haha! :eyesmoke:

Ok 4 plants outside grown in garden natural sunshine I knew one of my girls was not looking the nice green she needed to be so I ph and she was at 5.5. My other three two were at 5.8 and one at 6.2 I used 3/4 gallon water to 2 cap fulls of Fox Farm Big Grow did I do the right thing ? I have them in large pots plenty of room with Ocean Forest soil I have only watered them one other time
with the Fox Farm nutes and let mother nature do her thing . In the Northeast and have had plenty of rain. They have been in the pots for at least a month and knew that Ocean Forest is basically plant ready. I didn't want to overfeed and burn. When do I check my ph again after I feed them?

Ok a few questions... Do you have a pic of them? Are they all the same strain? What size pots are they in? How often and how much do you water? What is your PPM and PH when watering?. I would think PH needs to be at least 6 for all 4 of em. I am not sure about big grow I do not use it sorry, if its only 1 thats struggling I doubt it was the big grow. When checking PH do you mean the PH run off? I don't check runoff I am only concerned with the water and nutes I am giving her, I have never had an issue growing like this. Ocean Forest is good I've used it and still do sometimes, but I still have a feeding program as well to make sure the plants get everything they need. Once you help me us with some more info maybe we can help you out and fix that problem,! Thanks.
