PPM Question

hi im currently running a aeroflo 60 with a 40 gallon res.....im a month into my bloom and i started the ppms very low with the new clones i put into the sysytem. gradually i raised them and topped the plants so i would have giants. i cant say i have small nugs but i wouls say bigger than usual with tons of white hairs everywere.....

my question is being were i am right now what should my ppms be at? and whats the most i can go with my ppms as being the highest without getting nute lock or hurting my babies.....oh ya i have my ppms set at 11-1200 right now but i think that might be too high?

I use an EC of 1.2 for my aeroflo grows which is a ppm of 600, 768 or 840 depending on which scale you are using. have a look at my gallery and all the plants shown are grown using an EC of 1.4 or less so there is no real need to increase you ppm's unless of course you have shares in your nutrient company!

If you are going to keep your ppms at 1100-1200 you have to flush on a regular schedule to prevent problems. I use waterfarms and I dont go past 1200ppm and thats only in late flower just before the final flush. My average is 850-1000ppm for flower and around 700-800 for veg.

wow thats a bad system u r a handy guy........so 840 is the top you go even at the end of the life cycle? this is what im trying to learn....im set at 1200 right now and it looks like the nugs r standing still im going toi drop the ppm right now to 800 and see what happens.....ty vm....

well i just flushed last night ....i just dumoed half the rez out and added more fresh water to lower the ppms......i ust turned it back on to cycle threw and get a good reading....what bothered me to ask this question is that i had nice little nugs plenty or white hairs and im a month in and i didnt see no size......i figured i had nute lock but i didint this 1200 was high at all.....

but if ya read some people posts in here they go as high as 1500 and one guy puts his clones int a 1200 ppm and he says they love it i dont see that maybee hes just lucky......
