pre flower??

I've been alternating my plants indoor at night 1000w mh and out door in the day. I wait until it is 70+ F and if it's a cold day I leave them inside under lights. This sky walker OG already has pistils on it and one of them seems to be pretty large although I don't want the plant to flower yet. Is this sign of flowering or maybe just pre flower?? Also what is your input on alternating the lights? It seems to be working good and saving me a ton of money. I know bugs can be an issue so I have them elevated 5 ft off the ground and also inspecting them before bringing them to the tent.

You need at least 13 1/2 hours of light {or less than 10 1/2 hours of dark} every day to keep them from flowering. It can be a combination of sun and lights. Bring them in before dark and run some lights on them to make the night shorter. You can also run the lights for about an hour at midnight. It will break the night up into two nights as far as the plants know.

Thanks for the input Larry.. As of now I have them outside from 12pm-5pm. At 5pm I bring them inside and have them under 1000w mh bulb until 8am. At 8am I turn the lights off and let them sleep until noon. They are on a 20/4 schedule. Would you recommend less light hours or would you recommend doing 24/0? Does the pistil look like it might start to flower or is this normal?
Thanks

If you've stuck with that schedule you should be alright. But it does look like a pre flower. The only time I have ever used 24-0 is with seedling less than a week old. I've heard some down time is important to them. You might try to give them a couple more hours of dark and see how they respond. How long until you get 13 1/2- 14 hours days?

I'm having to depend on the sun this spring. I've got a couple that are looking like they want to flower too. I started too early.
