Pre flowers wierd??

On one of my plants i see spear shape long pods, not round. Ad on the end sticking out is hair. I have another plant that has it too but instead of white hair its a green hair/or very skinny hairy lookin leaf emerging, Could be a branch but doubt it. Now my last plant is weird it looks female hair is white but no spear shape pod!! Like its just sticking out of the stem.They are 7-8 weeks old so it should have shown preflowers.

sounds to me like you're seeing growing shoots, at least on the one you say has green hair. The other one could be a female preflower, but if you aren't experienced with them, you could easily be seeing an early growing shoot. Pics would help, or just waiting. If it's a bracht and pistol in a week at most it should look defined and be easy to tell. Males, if you let them go for a week or so, are unmistakable once they start to flower. Most of the time I see people make sexing mistakes is because they don't let things evolve long enough and mistake other things (like growing shoots) for signs of balls or hairs.

if you are indeed seeing pistols, then it's a female. That's really the question because the growing shoots that pop out of nodes oftentimes do look like pistols for a day or two. magnifiers can help identify stuff early, but in my experience, just waiting a few more days till stuff is more pronounced is the safest way to go. It only takes a few days from the first signs till it becomes obvious, and they are so immature in that time that you really risk nothing by giving it a few days. Look online for as many male/female pics as you can, the more you become familiar with what different strains look like at different stages of growth the better you will get at sexing :) as always, a picture is worth 1000 words, see if you camera has a macro setting, and hold the plant with tweezers, or a twist tie or something :)
