pre-outdoor grow(indoor) journal

hey, i wanna start my grow journal here, my materials are:

mylar on the walls of my cab,
a garbage bag cut with mylar on the one side to stop light from leaking out the door,
then i added a 26watt cfl to a pie tin and put 2 hooks on the roof to hold the pie tin/light fixture,
i am using top soil from other indoor house plants i already have,
i used plastic containers(various sizes)
their ALL in a small chinese food container with a lid,
i have 2 i planted directly into soil this will be their second day,
and i have 2 that i germinated using the paper towel method and their in soil from yesterday night,
and i have 1 i planted just now that poped they didnt get bigger then 1/4 inch tap root,
i spray them all with a spray bottle once a day (not too much) i have approx. 9 germinating now ones poped but im going to leave it germinating a bit longer to see if it decreases the soil pop time. 5 of the 9 in germination i ad in a shot glass with water for about 11-12 hours and they were still floating so i gently pushed them with my finger and they all sunk! so i think they should pop late tonight hopefully, the germination now i have is paper towel in a baggy which is with the seeds in soil to help keep a stronger heat as i am in canada and it is coldish still,

i hope to keep the plants until they are approx. 5-7inchs and then put them outside,
i am going to add photos later cuz im out of time, but its a small grow cab cuz its ONLY for vegitative stage until i put them outside.
i also threw a seed outside in my back yard garden, if it pops ill bring it inside.
im also adding another 1-2 cfl's to my cab as i only have one atm so i will have 2-3 26 watt cfls tha give about 1260 lumens each i believe.

i dont have any fan in their but i open the cab 2-4 times a day will that be good enough? it needs to stay stealth.

any help, comments, or tips is well appresiated also, bone meal(fish poop) can i just take some out of my fish tank? it always hangs off my dirty gold fish lol..

UPDATE: so it has only been another day lol, but i checked my germination seeds and ones poped but no root yet and another has poped but im gonna leave it in germination til it gets a bigger root to see if its healthier or not compared to the rest. also i looked at the 5 i have planted and one was rising a lil i noticed and one had the root visible so i carfully covered it and straightened it a little better.

i sprayed them all with my water bottle put the lid on the cover, re-soaked the germination towels and threw them under the cfl i have, hopefully this is enough light for now, i will grab the new light fixture tonight! anyone with the best way to hook up lights with the LOWEST size used ? i have the one inside a pie tin, might just put the other on in on the oppisite side like parelle, pop can reflector better then a pie tin?

so in conclusion i will repost in 2 days to give it more time im just anxious tryng to smoke to make time go faster! well im out to smoke a j or somethin(bong smashed yesterday) peace and hope someone followes my journal to help me this is my second try at growing but only becuz the first one got snatched very young..

hey, update was gonna wait but i got a question too, so 3 of the seeds poped soil, one had its root/stem visible, so i carefully sprinkled top soil over it to just cover it (not the top), another was a lil sideways so i corrected it carefully, and the shell fell HALF-off so its just hangin, but i left it.

the question i had was, should i be giving them more water then just spraying them until the soils moist?, should i spray every other day or every day(have been)?, ALSO big question sometimes when my tenent is not home i have the chance to let them sit outside for a hour or 2, is it good if i move them (ONLY WHEN I HAVE THE CHANCE) outside and put them back inside? or would it cause stress?

any tips or replys are thanked for..

im sorta curious to see how this works out for you

update: hey guys just installed the second light, so i now have two 26 watt cfls on them, three of the planted seeds are now poped with leafs comming out of the center, but one looks unhealthy i will deff add pics in a bit

so now that their poped do i want the lid on still?

dont spray leaves just water soil and it depends on ur pot size how much water and for germination leave the lid on while u atr germin

cfls still produce heat in the past i have fried yes fried seedlings one may be all you need for your purposesses

alright well thanks for ur help i only have one in there cuz the socket was broken that i thought would work :S but their not too close i dont think, havent checked em today so lets see...fingers crossed.

so the only poped healthy ones(2 about to rise but still have shell)

the only good ones so far are shark breathe n jack frost(not real strains just names for bagseed!)

and so shark breath is the better one as jask frost has a tiny SKIN like covering the 2 leafs not allowing them to seperate! should i carfully use a knife or something to cut the skin? or leave it alone? idk im stuck!. i put 4 more seeds into a shot glass for the 12 hour sitting thing before i germ them cuz the 4 i had germinating didnt pop yet i still using them but i dont think they will pop or they will be very slow growers, so any ways thats the update heres some pictures (only 2 of each((jack frost and shark breath)

also forgot to add that shark breath has a lil bit of a pinkish tint does that mean its too cold(what i heard a while back) its not pure purple just has like a outline of it around the outside of the leafs, also shark breath has the second SET of leafs or the first if u dont include the first set whatever its called forgot their name

probably not a good idea to post pics if you or your friend's .. lol..just bustin your balls, but seriously..your babies are looking just fine.. make sure to water them but not too mch,, water more as they get bigger..they need more water/nutruents as they start to mature

thanks man, soo weird story my tenent toke em and had one of his own lmao so now they have more room, i just have to re-install everything he's using a idolscent bulb...the basic old ones,he has yet to learn from me lmao, soill post pics once i re-set everhting up, hopefully the babiescan survive for today until a lil later.. bigger space now tho, but their still DEFF not staying inside

so i checked the babies today, cant get pictures til tomorrow, but the good one, "Shark breathe" has its 2nd REAL set of leafs today, and 3rd set if u count the oval ones(forget there name) and the last one i planted just poped "Run d.m.c" and i have 4 more im germinating ill add pictures tomorrow if i can (camera broke)
