Precipitation? Calimagic

I'm having this strange issue that is clearly related to the use of calimagic. I've been experimenting with adding calmag during veg to create a better multi strain formula. What happens is after a couple days the nutrients start turning brown, and the bubbles around the edge of the res get this brown residue that leaves stains where the water line is. I'm using ro water. I have had this happen while using jacks, and also while using cns17. The strange thing is that it doesn't seem to happen every time. I thought it was brown algae, but now I'm thinking it's fallout. I believe the issue is less noticable if i add the calimagic after the cns17. Anyway, it's really frustrating me. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you aerate your nutrient solution?

I've been experimenting with temp. At this point I'm around 63 degrees. I do use airstones. I don't like to run them constantly so have them on timer to run 15min every hr. I really don't think this is the issue. The nutrients turn a shade of yellow/brown after adding calmag, then 1-2 days it gets darker and darker and little specs start to form around the res. I'm leaning toward iron fallout?

I do, but not constantly. I guess get this figured out. It's driving me insane

Forget the airstone. Put a small pump on the bottom of your reservoir to keep things stirred up better. It will also oxygenate the solution better than airstones.

I'm got some maxigro today. Going to try it with calimagic. I'm guessing I'll have the same problem, but fingers crossed. If I do, I guess I go back to jacks. This one's really got me scratching my head
