Preflowers Already??

Hey all, My plants are 6 weeks old tomorrow and started showing me preflowers yesterday. Still too early to determine sex. The nodes are starting to alternate as well. Some are 8 inches tall and the tallest one is 14 inches.

Also, their stems seem to be starting to lean a bit after their growth spurt, anything I should do about that?

Should I flip the cycle already? And if so, should I give them one more feeding with my veg nutes first? Or should I start moving on to the flowering nutes?

Just wanna make sure they'll have enough Nitrogen when they starting stretching.

well my girl was about 6 weeks old when i saw her preflowers
so i flipped the light cycle

some people use veg nutes for a while into flower cycle, so they can keep there leaves nice and green
but yes i would start her on her flower nutes and maybe some veg nutes for a while

Don't over-do-it. Keep it simple. I would say just go ahead with the flower ratios but I suppose it depends on your medium and which nutrients you are using as well as what size container, how tall you want her to get, etc.

I have mother plants in veg that constantly show pre-flowers so you can switch to 12/12 or not.

This depends on what nutrients you're running. I know FoxFarm gives it a bit of veg. nutes into bloom, but it's according to their schedule. Google "fox farm dirt schedule" and you'll find the pdf of it from their website.

I've been using organic Age Old Grow 12-6-6 + Cal-Mag and plan on using Awesome Blossoms 2-11-11 while flowering. The soil is Fertilome. Should I continue using the Cal-Mag into flowering?
So would you give both the Age Old Grow and the Awesome Blossoms when first switching to 12/12?

I always give my ladies their veg nutes along with flowering nutes, all the way through - though the veg nutes get cut back to around 1/4 strength in flower. I would also continue giving the Cal-Mag, as well.
