Preserving seeds most effectively?

So I bought some seeds that I'm not ready to plant yet, it was a bargain so I had to buy, the tin says you should store them in a fridge between 4-8degrees celcius, wouldn't this possibly cause condensation and maybe germinate the seeds?

I keep mine in mason jars in the fridge and throw a few silica packets in. Make sure you bring it up to room temperature before you open the jar to keep the condensation from forming inside the jar. I just started some 3 year old seeds with 100% success.
