Preventing hermaphrodites? Simple question about thunderstorms

i live in a place were thunderstorms frequently kick out the power. my question is during my daytime cycle if there's a thunderstorm and it kicks out the power the utility company usually has it fixed before my nighttime cycle which means the lights went off for maybe an hour or so and then came back on.

Doesn't that cause hermaphrodites?

And what can be done so that if the power goes out and come back on my light stays off till i am able to turn it back on after the right amount of darkness?

No. It does not. Genetics cause hermaphrodites. The normal grower, should be fine. Herming your shit on purpose is insanely difficult and near impossible, thats why not alot of people are cranking out their own "feminized" seeds. Youre fine, i inturrupt my cycle all the time and never had a herm that wasnt genetically predisposed to that trait.

I agree with Marcoze, I have by accident stressed the shit out of some of my femmed seeded plants and they've always produced.
