Used promix hp ... great mix . Don’t see why that choice wouldn’t be as good.

Did a run a couple of years ago with pro-mix veg & herb organic, i got away with about 2 weeks before needing to feed.
Worked fine out of the bag, dries slow.

I've been using the promix herb & vegetable mix for years. I usually get a month to 6 weeks before I have to feed. And usually by then it's time to pot up. It can be a little hot for sativa dominant plants, you'll get a bit of nitrogen excess, but mine grew through it, just had dark green leaves. You'll want to stay away from the flowering plant blend, it is waaaay high in nitrogen.
I would add more perlite if it's staying too wet for you, but I've never had a problem. I water by the weight method.
I use it, and unless someone shows me something better for a comparable price I'm going to keep using it.
