probably a rehashed question, maybe not...

so my plan is to start my plants out indoors and shift to the outdoors, basically i want to germinate and begin to grow in some sort of a homemade grow box. 75% of my time i hope to be outdoors, but i know it's a good idea to get started inside. so my question is... what would a good setup be to grow about 15 plants inside? how much light are we talking? do i need to go bonkers and get 1200 watts? or will 150/300 watts be good enough to get me going until i can grow outdoors? i've been pricing out some basic supplies to get me underway and am hoping i can suffice. again.. sorry for the 100th thread about this (im guessing)

if they are only going to be inside 25% of the time you dont need an extreme amount of light like 1200 watts but the more you have the faster they will veg but again if they are only there 25% it will not take much cfls could suffice

i'm using a 250w MH to get my outdoor started early. i will veg about a dozen or so under this light until they are 20 or so inches. i have a second 250 just in case i need more. last year i used 3 foot floros.
